Schaub and Graham (1 Viewer)

Schaub- now speculation that he could be out for another month. Seems like a player usually does not come back sooner after a report like this.

Graham- nothing official, only information with Gruden thinking this is the case. This would not be the first time that injury information like this was way off at the beginning. Does anybody have any official information on Graham's status?

Many of us will need to decide if it is completely safe to drop these two for a free agent this week. In my leagues there are only scraps left at RB and a few low level starting QB's, not any immediate help free agents.

Wed, Nov 19 Graham suffered both a high ankle sprain and ligament damage in Sunday's Buccaneers-Vikings game, the St. Petersburg Times reports. The Buccaneers are expected to place Graham on injured reserve on Wednesday or Thursday.

Recommendation: Expect Warrick Dunn to replace Graham as the starting halfback, with Cadillac Williams getting back into the mix very quickly. The Bucs have already signed free agent back Noah Herron to bolster their backfield depth.

The Herron signing is pretty clear indication that Graham is done. I think Schaub has a good chance to be back for the playoffs though.

I'm holding on Schaub b/c I've been mainly using him or Rosenfels in a large league where there is nothing on the WW at QB.

I know ESPN was reporting that he was behind schedule, but it's not like it would be the first time ESPN was wrong on this stuff. Would love to know something more definitive so I could use the roster spot for something else.

Texans coach Gary Kubiak revealed Monday that Matt Schaub's recovery from a torn MCL is behind schedule and he could miss four more weeks.

If you haven't dropped Schaub already, feel free. In a best-case scenario he'll return in Week 16 at Oakland and finish out Week 17 against Chicago. This is bad for Owen Daniels, whose production has fallen off drastically with Sage Rosenfels under center the last two weeks. Andre Johnson's numbers have also taken a hit. Rosenfels will start @ CLE, vs. JAX, @ GB, and vs. TEN in Weeks 12-15. The Texans may now have to consider placing Schaub on IR. Nov. 17 - 7:09 pm et
