Schaub (1 Viewer)

245 yard and 2 touchdowns,1 int. He will have a very good year this year as long as Andre stays healthy. It would help if Walter gets healthy cause with him AJ Slayton and Daniels that is a lot of weapons at Schaub's disposal.

300 2 1I think he probably completes 23 out of 30 passes.
As a Shaub Owner, I'll throw in my opinion. I say 235, 2 TD's, 1 IntI think the numbers will be on the low side, as they attack Gholston and the suspect run D. Jets are also going to pass blitz all day, so that sets up for some nice screens. O Daniels could be a bigger factor since K. Walter is hurting. Houston offense plays down to their competition and squeak out a low scoring game. meh.

Wasn't there run defense top 5 last year?As a Schaub owner myself I hopee around 285 and 2 TD, that would not be bad at all.

3 tds 250 pass 10 rush 1 INT 1 fmbl lost

(A.Davis 45 yds, Slaton 10 yds, A. Johnson 5 yds)

Final score HOU 35 - NYJ 20

Schaub: 2 TD's, 265 yards, 1 pik, 1 fumble.

Daniels: 7 catches, 80 yards, 1 TD

Slaton: 90 yards, 1 rush TD, 40 recieving yards

AJ: 75 yards, 1 TD

Sanchez: 200 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

Keller: 6 catches, 1 TD

T Jones: 130 combined, 2 TD's

Washington: 75 combined

Jets with a pik 6, win by 3.

As a Jets fan, the Jets only have 3 pass rushers who can get to the QB by simply beating their man (not relying on a designed blitz). Those players are Shaun Ellis, Calvin Pace, and Kris Jenkins. Both Ellis and Pace (#1 and #2 on our team in sacks last season) are suspended today and being replaced by players who are not half the pass rushers they are.

Schaub will have a much better game against us today (especially at home) then he would have if this game was being played in Week 5. Losing Pace and Ellis today means the Jets are depending 100% on scheme to get to the QB in this game. Granted Rex Ryan has made his career out of scheming to get to the QB, but it really puts the Jets D behind the 8-ball today.

So if you're rolling with the NYJ D, maybe don't give up on them after this week? I admittedly have them on a very short leash.

Exactly.Ellis will be back next week but Pace doesn't return until week 5. Even getting just Ellis back will make a world of difference. Once Pace returns in week 5 is when you'll see the "real" 2009 Jets defense.
