Wonder if the reporter was male or female. Will Goodell provide equal justice under the conduct rules?

Edited to fix a million typos as a result of using my Droid and going too fast.

It did.... Loooong time ago, but Steelers fans forgot to play the "Our poor Ben was unjustifiably punished" card back then so someone needed to hit this one before the statute of limitations had run out..

My bad.... I am so out of it I had not heard that or at least forgot it. I guess the news is the nfl is looking into the allegation. Will be interesting to see how Goodell handles it.If non story I trust mods will delete.
 
i highly doubt it was Favre.

The voice was similar but sounded like someone impersonating him.

Either way there is no hard evidence it was him so nothing the NFL can do, they aren't going to have him pull out his dong to investigate it further.

If the NFL starts suspending players based on infidelity......whoooooooooooooboy!How are franchises gonna be able to find enough players to field full starting squads??? :popcorn:

 
Associated Press reporting that the NFL has confirmed it is investigating the incident.

Fox Sports, CBS, Minneapolis Star Tribune, and Associated Press now openly discussing the "incident". Can't hide this one anymore. It's out there and it's being reported by reputable sources.

It's an interesting story. Much like Tiger Woods...people love to see the "golden boys" fall from grace. It's news as well because a few columnists have already called for a suspension if the allegations are true. On the heels of the Ines Sainz thing and suspensions for other players based on an arbitrary "personal conduct code"...I don't see why this wouldn't be something that today's gossip is king and overreaction is the only response world would be intrigued by.

favre will never get a suspension. he's one of the nfl's all-time greatest assets.

Favre is to the NFL like Jeter is to MLB. It speaks volumes when the major media outlets are scared to run with this story. If this was TO or practically any other NFL player other than Peyton, the media would be salivating all over it.

She never filed a complaint, therefore no charges. No victim no crime.

Favre's a DBag in the truest form. Deanna put up with A LOT of BS from him over the years. My wife read her book and told me some things he used to do. I feel bad for her and their kids who have to put up with this story at school now knowing their dad's schlong is all over the internet.

lol really? If she has the emails/text/pics they have little embedded timestamps and codes in them. I bet brett is dumb enough to do them from his phone.
 
There is no question in my mind that Big Ben's suspension this year is an absolute joke. Jerry Jones runs a muck with no repercussion because he's an owner, VY and Ced Benson both had fights before the beginning of the season, Ronnie Brown got a DUI and now this which will go without acknowledgment I'm sure. Mind you Ben never even received charges against him despite his guilt in the public's eye and most of the "saints" on this board. It's a crock of #### and no one is going to change my mind on that. Even if Ben deserved his punishment, and I feel like he did, Goodell has #### all over his bull #### policy since that moment in time.
