I don't have a scooter, but these Vespa things seem to be all the rage over in Europe. As you can see in the photo, the model looks pretty bad-### sitting on the steps sans socks with his Vespa parked nearby.

I'm guessing your kid doesn't need to spend an extra grand or two for the Vespa style, but they are pretty sweet as far as scooters go.

I was invited to try something like this https://www.electricbike.com/stealth/recently. These are awesome because they are totally silent. You can use them on roads and bike paths and if you peddle a little to assist the motor you can hit 30-35mph no problem.

yeah... they are pretty expensive but if I was looking for scooter type transportation I would go with this in a heartbeat.

Just sold our Vespa, just didn't use it enough. I'd recommend one to anyone, yes they are a little bit more but the quality is there IMO.

I'm assuming you are just looking at a 50cc?

I just sold our LX 50 for $1500 if you were curious where they came in. Brand new we bought it for $2,000. But when we bought it new it wasn't the newest model, it was couple years old.
