Thought I was in kind of a grey area here....kind of a spin off thread from waiver wire prospects each week. Certainly wan't going to use this thread as help in managing my team.

Not to mention this isn't very deep of a league if guys like Marcedes Lewis and Moeaki are out on the waiver wire. I'm in a 10 team league and 7 of the 10 names you've listed are not available. You should probably post in the other forum with some more info, starting/roster requirements, scoring system, your needs as compared to your current roster, etc. if you want to get meaningful feedback. Not to beat a dead horse but this thread is an epic fail :) Just kidding. It's all good. The players to own IMHO are Moeaki at TE, Alexander at WR or Sproles at RB.

So how did you choose that list of guys? I assume they are the best guys on the WW in your hypothetical deep league with scoring and roster rules similar to an actual deep league that you participate in.If so, then no grey area here.If not, I would just hypotheticallly assume Mike Williams of Seattle is still on the WW and pick him up. :)

Hypothetically speaking of course, TEs are not required so Lewis/Moeaki aren't great plays and thus hypothetically available in this fictional league.

Anywho....I'll just consider this thread a FAIL and move on....

Thx!

I think Anthony Armstrong could be decent. Fast guy with a QB who has a big arm. McNabb likes to just throw one up there occasionally and he could be the beneficiary of those throws.

A slow, but I give you points for finally understanding the concept

There are some of us who play in similar TE=WR leagues, so topics regarding potential with them intermingled is perfectly valid in the pool, imo. How many other "Who has the best value moving forward?" threads are allowed in here?

I think I'd put it like this:

WRs/TEs

Jacob Tamme (good balance of realistic NOW potential and rest of season upside)

Deon Butler (probably the safest bet, but not w/ the upside of Tamme)

Danario Alexander (biggest upside of all, but also biggest BUST potential)

Marcedes Lewis

Anthony Armstrong

Tony Moeaki

Brandon Pettigrew

RBs (can't say that any interest me at all beyond Sproles in PPR only)

Darren Sproels

Isaac Redman

Dimitri Nance
