**Seahawks at Jaguars**(-1.5, 47.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

I kinda think 47.5 is a bit high. I think both these teams want to be run 1st teams, and I think this game could be a fast one, with a lot of runs.

Seattle is down both Devon Witherspoon and Tariq Woolen. The setup won't get much better for Brian Thomas than this. I think Travis Etienne has another 100-yard game this week and breaks a 40+ yarder in there somewhere.

Sam Darnold and JSN have been playing like they've been together for several seasons. I don't expect that to stop, especially after the Jags just traded their best CB, in a deal that I really didn't get from their perspective. Campbell is better than Newsome and is signed beyond this year.

I think the Jags win and go to 5-1.

What impact if any has Travis Hunter had for the Jags?
Would they still be 4-1 without him?
They spent their 2026 1st Round pick plus the No 36 pick from '25 and I'm not sure what impact he's having

I think The Jags defense is for real
I think The Seahawks are pretty good
I think The Jags really believe this year
I think the score will be...

Jagwires- 29

Seahawks- 20

Anyone that watched this game, what impact did Hunter have if any on the offense?
Other than costing them the long TD to Thomas by lining up offsides, not much. Did have 7 targets, which is his season high, but nothing down the field. Looks a little lost. I know he's a rookie, but being drafted #2 overall and the cost to the Jags to trade up to #2 has high expectations and not meeting them yet. Watch the entirety of the games against SF, KC and Seattle. Seems to be playing "anxious" like he is looking for that "look at me moment". Reminds me a little bit of Zay Flowers that way. But it's early. Guy obviously has a ton of talent, so better days ahead.
Why does TLaw struggle so much but then throws a nice pass that makes you think he's good?
Good talent around him and throw enough passes, good ones will happen? As good of an explanation as any. The TD pass that got called back was a bad throw that Thomas made a great play on. Hopefully Lawrence figures out that Thomas is really good at 50/50 balls and takes a few more chances deep.

I allowed myself to get optimistic for TLaw after last weeks game where he suddenly found his legs and started running more. Was hoping it might click and he realizes that is another element to his game this team could really use! But alas, he reverted back to his crappy, overpaid, fraud self and he sucked again.
