I'm not trying to argue with you, just doesn't add up for me.
Why at this point will they not play him a little more? I don't have him in any leagues, i had him on one roster in one of the deeper leagues I'm in, let him go this morning so I didn't have to cut Denver's Defense in order to grab another since they are on a Bye this week
I'm not piling on him, I'm just disappointed based on so many sizzling reports from beat writers, the SP was sold on him as the successor in Tennessee, Pollard was an afterthought and he still is but he's continued to fill the RB1 role on this team
It's not Spears fault really, this team needs a lot of work and I'm not sure Cam Ward will be their QB in a few seasons, we'll see.
I've never been on this bandwagon.
He doesn't have the body of a workhorse but of a track star so he gets injured often.
He can't run up the gut well at all.
They've given him a lot of short yardage carries over the years and he stinks man. It ain't there.
He's fast outside and has a turbo button and wooooh look at him go but there is zero grit to this kid.
Sadly or meanly, one could bet he'd get injured if he got 20 carries

Pollard and Spears aren't cutting it but I'm sure the OL has at least something to do with it
Wide Receivers? Where are they? There isn't a WR1 here, there might not be a WR2 either
Tight End could use a top prospect, maybe not 1st round but a solid TE that can catch and get open for Cam

TE is very good.
Gunnar's gotta get some plays and maybe a few Delanie type drives. He's made plays most every week and could care less if someone is on him.
DMR was very good in camp and beat out last year's co-starter Josh Whyle.
Second week in a row that Chig looks good out wide. Been saying it so long I'm wondering if they'll continue it. Why not. He's a free agent after and an odd matchup problem so I say keep going with that.
Yeah they lack a #1 but probably have 2-4 in Oliver, Elic, and Dike. It's a real shame Oliver's season has been wasted. But they've got the youth and ST and all that for the depth spots just fine. Idk if Oliver but the others can't be relied upon. Is that yet or ever? We'll have to see. Dike is too fast and quick for most depth CBs. He's probably got a home as at least a depth guy. Elic got stymied in camp, had press coverage handled and ...he's fallen backwards in this regard. It's always ridiculous to evaluate a rookie stuck at the LOS. He's a hockey kid thru n thru and we got to see it in camp but not in the regular season. If he gets off the line regularly, his confidence will go up, and you'll see an odd WR that kinda likes being bumped and bumping back n all. I always believe there's a place for that in this league and WRs can be too weak at times. I like a tough one.
They should have kept Jahquan Jackson as I said but Prosche will do just fine. He looks good today at WR in spots and is a known very good ST player. That's a sixth spot wrapped up.
There will be added players but I sit here and wish nothing more than Jeremiah Smith and a rule change so he can leave early. All these secondary types need someone to play off of and Cam would have a go to WR and....oh it would fit so perfectly.
They have a young G/C they really like. They need a (not high pick!) a young T and maybe a UDFA G they like and really push these starters. They're only soso right now but there's talent on that OL for a change.
I wouldn't be surprised if they drafted seven CBs. It's so miserable.
Most have them trading down and taking an edge and WR in the top two rounds and debate what the third pick would be. Then they say what about two edges?
