Seahawks vs. Bengals - Week 1 (1 Viewer)

There it is, career high for Andy Dalton. 384 yards. #Bengals

Why?  Was a bad call, but no way it's reversed.  He got there a tad early.
In slo mo, you could see he had a grasp, so there is an argument that he was there early, but totally agree with @ffldrew -- that's a pure football play, it in no way impeded the ability of the receiver to get to the ball or make the catch, did not alter or bump him in his route, and was 100% about getting a hand in to block the ball.

That is simply a great defensive play.

Agree, don't know what else a DB can do (maybe shouldn't have had his left hand around the waist) But being that is was called on the field just no way it was going to be reversed.  The PI challenge should only be used on egregious non-calls of PI.  Coaches should have figured that out in pre-season - if a P.I. is called on the field it is not going to be reversed...

Guess I hoped that the NFL showed some reason in a league that so much favors the passing game and actually did reverse a call where there was zero deleterious impact of what the defender did on that play.

Maybe that's just too much to expect.

LOL, these rules are stupid. Anyone with eyes can see that was an incomplete pass. Leave it to the NFL to F this up.

Nothing new about my Bengals getting screwed at the end like that but very impressed with what I saw from Zac and company today.  Will be fun to watch this year - a lot of fight and a caoching staff that at least isn't afraid of it's own shadow.
