Seattle at New England (1 Viewer)

Didn't like that call....Gronk initiated the contact as if it were a running play

Blount out-scoring Brady...by a lot.

Not good for me :(

So it's okay to hold a receiver if you thought it was a running play?
Hardly...but when a receiver pushes the defender first, and you're still within 5 yards, AND the defender simply pushes back and attempts to hold his ground.....it shouldn't be called holding.

Watch it again, Gronk literally pushes THROUGH him

That legal play.
That's part of the problem with the NFL right now though. The defender does, and SHOULD have the right to the space he already occupies. If the receiver initiates contact, it should be called on the reciever.

I just don't understand this reasoning. If a defender impedes a route you should be able to displace them.

Wilson can move again. First game he's been able to successfully do that spin away thing in weeks.
Noticed he looked pretty good last week, but hopefully this is a sign of things to come.  Good on the Seahawks by keeping him in the pocket the first seven games, I think that helped him get back to normal.

Good Lord....watch the play. Gron ran straight INTO the defender before he took a single step. It's like charging in basketball...the defender has a right to the ground he's already standing on

there's a guy who thinks if a receiver is not open you should be allow to ground the ball

your guys get their cake and eat it too. and if they don't get it, they demand it....and eventually get it.

Seems like the best Seattle has looked all year
Offensively, sure.  Lockett has been hurt and ineffective because he thrives with a mobile Wilson.  They also decided they'd lean more on Prosise instead of depending on Michael to carry the load, knowing Michael is a moron who doesn't know the playbook and can't pass block at all.

Yup a little last week. Don't think he could really move at all before that.

Once we see him keep the ball on a read option and they get Rawls back watch out.

I mean, they used to mug receivers every play and eventually the league got tired of Peyton crying about it. Meh, I guess we just see it differently.
