Seattle blew its chance. Recall failed. (1 Viewer)

Still great up here in the top left corner of the map. Top of places to live that I have been too.

Lots of homeless people however for sure and downtown not having people in offices continues to take a toll.

They had softened many camping in public areas laws during Covid times and this is slowly being unwound. Biggest park near my house within the past few months cleared out a section of campers. I believe they also relaxed a rule that allowed cars to be parked for certain time limits in spots without moving during Covid, that has recently been reversed.

Huh?  I was told that Seattle is basically Unicorn Fantasy Land.  Couple posters here looked out their front window and didn't see anything so are you sure that report is accurate?  I have it on good word  - one guy even walked his dog around the block and didn't see anything for double confirmation.
It is an amazing place to live.

I think your dog walking thing is again confusing Portland and Seattle (you have done this before I believe).

I haven't been to Portland in 2 years but another great place to live.

It's what the liberals voted for.

They're getting EXACTLY what they want.
Sawant represents one (of I believe 9) district meaning the majority of the city does not vote for her seat on the council. It is definitely the most liberal area.

She very narrowly won this recall, I was kind of surprised even knowing her district but it wasn't a total shock.
