Seattle SS (1 Viewer)

Not sure Babineaux is a good fit to play SS. Don’t be surprised if Milloy is the starter when the games count.

Keep any eye on Virginia Tech SS Kam Chancellor. Chancellor is big and tall, 6-4 / 226. Smart player, excels in run support, strong and has some hops. Looks like a LB, may not have good enough coverage skills to play on the backend, could get exposed by TEs. Hard to imagine Seattle starting two rookie safeties. If he can't make it at saftey, may have a future at WLB.

Sounds a lot like Aaron Rouse.
He sure does... I think Chancellor's intangibles will make him the better football player. He could stick at safety in the right scheme.

Mike Mayock on Chancellor- Some make their free and strong safeties interchangeable, performing the same duties. Others put the strong safety "in the box," near the line. Because Chancellor's size is similar to "a lot of NFL linebackers," Mayock said, "In my mind he's probably more of an in-the-box safety than he is an interchangeable part."

They just grabbed Ellison off waivers. Does he start?
... and he's now been waived after failing a physical. Is his knee still an issue?
Apparently not.Re-signed already! Man, this has been a riveting offseason for a pretty middling prospect.
To follow up:
Ellison was claimed off waivers by Seattle on June 22 and waived on June 24. He then cleared waivers and signed in order to adjust contractual issues.
Seahawks Sign Safety Ellison (again)
