Seattle WR situation Mike Williams and Ben Obomanu (1 Viewer)

Why does everybody assume Williams is the guy to have over Obomanu? Obo put up some nice numbers before cutting his hand.
I would assume because Obo only put up those numbers when BMW was either not playing or injured. Also he doesnt get nearly the targets BMW is capable of.

Donny - I'd go with BMW over Goodson in PPR

BMW easily has more upside. He has a shot at being a 100 reception elite receiver in PPR leagues with a full season and if the team continues to improve, he can be a top 10 wr next year if this team remains stable. This isn't a knock against Obomanu (I own both), but BMW has shown he can be elite and I'm really interested to see how he performs going forward.

Due to the Cassel/Croyle situation, I am thinking of playing BMW over Bowe... just watching ESPN Fantasy Now Tim Hasselbeck made an interesting point regarding the Cover-2 defense ATL plays and how it can be tough to get the ball to the X receiver (BMW).

Makes me think the 2nd banana (OB) could be in for a good game though.

-Mike Williams played 60 minutes and finished in good health

-As usual, when healthy, led the team in targets (13)

-Heading back home to Tampa Bay where he grew up

-Banged up Bucs D

WR2 this week with upside in a PPR, imo.

Tempted to give Obomanu another shot at WR3, he did have 8 targets but Hasselbeck couldn't hit the side of a barn. The catch on the 2pt conversion from Whitehurst was a nice grab also.

What's the outlook for Obo this week? Didn't see the week 15 game only saw the whopping 7 recv yds from him.
Will play second fiddle as usual to Williams, but Seattle throws enough that the targets should be there. Just a matter what Hass does with them. 3/40 or 6/70/1.There was plenty to go around last week against the Lions with Drew Stanton chucking it.

So Seattle Mike Williams is really Tampa Bay Mike Williams?

He wouldve had a 95 yard td if Hass had been quicker and smarter during a naked bootleg in the end zone.
Would've points dont count as much as did do points. What changes if the same Hass is too stupid and slow to throw to Obo? BMW is the safe play. Obo can be ok, but gets half the targets as BMW.
