Selling high on Josh Hamilton? (1 Viewer)

Cool in the pocket

It's too early to say he has hit the wall/slumping, but he is off to a slow post break start. Maybe he's tired from bashing out all those taters in the Derby. His value seems to be sky high still. Most of us got him late--some maybe off the WW. But, it would be pretty unrealistic to extrapolate his first half over a whole season anyway. What are ballers thinking here? What would you expect back in a deal--top 10 OF/position player and a solid upper level P (not elite)? Is he worth riding the train on knowing you are probably getting diminishing returns based on the first half he put up or do you move him?

Ok, maybe you own him and maybe you don't, but do you believe his value will never be higher than now? Would you consider dealing him if he was on your team? He should fetch an elite P if you needed it. Or, do you believe his first half will continue on in the second and he's virtually untouchable?

I don't think anyone believes he'll repeat his first half numbers, nis owners nor his non-owners. I would not go out of my way to deal him and am not pursuing options, but if someone came to me and blew me away I'd consider it.

I'm gonna stay along for the ride with this guy. I got him in a keeper league at a pretty cheap deal. If he ever does leave Texas the place that he would most likely go to in the Yankees, and Yankee stadium is a pretty good place to be for left handed hitters with power.
