Selling pieces for the WSOP $10,000 Main Event (1 Viewer)

Had everything quoted, took a shower, and iPad refreshed the page so I'll just answer the few questions like this.

I might not be a big enough name lol. Hence why I'm not on the wsop site in the updates, but as you saw, I'm in the table draw reports.

They did the same with day1a/day1b last year. They keep the players from those first two flights segregated in different rooms. Everyone finally gets to play with each other on day 3. We have our own day for ourselves since our flight was by far the biggest.

QG, how do you I know Shane? Lol. I don't know him personally fwiw lol.

Thanks guys! Feel like I know the name Scott Sitron from somewhere, definitely don't know anyone else.

Good start. How are you feeling at the tables? Running alright?

Felt very comfortable. Ran into a few bad rivers, but also turned/rivered like 4 or 5 boats/sets.

Shane is basically a friend I haven't met in person yet. We're twitter friends with a favorite radio station (WFMU) in common. That's kinda the short story. He's a good guy and I'm sure I'll meet him when I next go out to the WSOP (I'm hoping to play a $1k next year). The internet age and all that. I'm thinking he'd find the namecheck (from someone he doesn't know no less) to be kinda funny (I'm not tipping him off). He did play day 1C and made it to day 2 so there's a chance you'll end up at the same table tomorrow at some point (here's hoping as it'll mean you both will keep on going).

I'm totally buying in and playing this next year. I'll welcome investments from the FFA, with the understanding that you mostly would be buying in solely for shtick purposes, as I am not very good at poker. TIA

In for 1% at $20.

I'll up it to $30 if we cash here.

Vegas WSOP Cornhole '15. :hifive:

If you use the "MyStack" app, you will appear on the live Chip Counts page. It's also cool as you can do an update and it tweets and posts to FB at the same time.

So totally in. I've warmed my wife up to the idea, and she's fine with me buying into the ME as I've explained it's a life experience and a dream of mine, and something I would intend only to do once.

Unless I win....

No offense, GB but I don't believe you.

Something will come up that will preclude you from playing.

And then next year he'll post he's playing the following year.

Someone will call him out on it and he'll call them a stalker.

I don't get it. Is this shtick? It's weird. I'd like to play next year, and I'm planning to. I guess if family issues or work issues come up there's a chance I won't be able to. But I'm planning to.

Some weird, weird dudes in the FFA lately.

Can we get 40 FBGs to throw in $250 a pop for an online tourney next year? Winner gets his entry fee to the Main Event?
We tried doing that this year, there just wasn't enough interest. But I'd totally be down for that. Even if I lost, would be cool to know we are sending one of our own, it would feel like money well spent.

LOL. Just having some fun with from the other thread.

What about combining the tourney and backing ideas?

1st in the tourney gets the seat and x%

2nd gets y%

.. last place gets the smallest cut.

Perhaps everyone that enters gets half of their entry as stake for the winner of the tourney. That way everyone is invested in the winner come tourney time. I still see how that might be tough to get the number of people needed though. Perhaps 20 at $500 although not sure that wouldn't just make things tougher.

Count me in for any tourney here that gets a FBG a seat. I'd do a 1k single table buy in among FBG. Whatever. Would just be cool to have someone else here to root for.

that would be cool but would like to have pretty deep slow moving blinds for it.

9 guys. $250 each. 1 $1500 seat, some airfare and hotel money. Winner gets 33%, the other 8 chop 66%.
LOVE this idea
I would be in too. More than likely I am going out there twice for WSOP next year anyway. Could probably get the winner a free room at the Rio if I am there at the same time. I have done it for people when I was not there but it much harder on my host if I am not there to sign for it.

Cody Cheek‏@r0llingame 5m

Cody Cheek‏@r0llingame 2m

Value from A high, I called quickly, beat K high. 114.7k little more than halfway through the level. Had lost some pots

didn't fold, didn't lose imo

@r0llingame: Lost a solid sized one vs a guy that flopped a set. Had exactly the same amount of chips I finished day 1 with and lost the color up race

Our hero just took a large hit.

@r0llingame: QJdd < AdAx on a K857dddd board for about 32k total in a 4b pot button vs sb vs James Dempsey. 60k at 800bb
