Shanahan "Disappointed" He Played Tatum Bell So Much (1 Viewer)

levin, heres a Q for ya:where do you see Tatum and Mike Bell's value for next year and beyond? percent each stay on the team? and if they go elsewhere, will they start?
Ugh. I can't even predict what will happen next year - this year really needs to play out a bit more. Both runners are signed through '08, but Tatum's contract accelerates over the next two years - not by much, but he'll get over 450G in '07 and nearly 550G in '08. And attempt to hold out/renegotiate will probably see the team take a hard stance.I could not find salary info for Mike Bell - he may only have a one-year contract, or his contract may be subject to the collective bargaining agreement regarding rookie contracts. I simply don't know enough about his contract status. As far as performance goes, I don't know if Shanahan is happy with either as a long term solution and I would not be surprised if he looked to draft yet another RB next year.It is simply too cloudy right now for me to make a prediction.
Mike Bell Signed an undisclosed contract on 5/1/2006. The deal included a $20,000 signing bonus. Nothing on the length of contract or how much but I heard somewhere earlier in the year that he was signed through '08 as well.. Just the small size of the bonus means a small contract, they'll sit T Bell if he wants to hold out in the future then trade t Bell like Lelie while they breed more running backs for their 1 cut offense
