Shark Pool Mock Draft 2011 - 4 Rounds (2 Viewers)

Tough choice here, and I'd love to trade down...

But if I had to draft here...

10. Robert Quinn - just another athletic OLB/DE to pair up with Orakpo and reek havok on Eli, Romo and especially Vick for years. Our defensive front 7 is not only old, it's not at all built for the 3-4 scheme we moved to last year. If we don't use the #10 pick to assist our 3-4 scheme, it will be like we're giving up on it after only a year. If we're serious about it, though, we'll need athletic guys to fill the gaps we currently have.

We'll just have to wait and see what falls to us in the 2nd round.

The Skins are up in 3 picks, and we are likely interested in trading down a bit if anyone wants to move up. Let me know, but I won't wait too long if I don't hear anything.
I got an offer ya can't refuse.
I am still laughing, well played sir
And I would have got away with it too! If it wasn't for you meddling kids!Man I haven't laughed that hard for a solid hour and a half since the first time I saw "Old School." :fishing:

Nah it's a great pick. Quinn is a beast, and your totally right about needing 3-4 pieces. Very nice.

I wanted him to but I knew he wouldn't fall 4 more picks.I was alittle surprised to see him go to Washington but I agree he is the best available player

Man CEF is fishing the heck out of you guys.
Yah i felt bad when chinawildman was like "you're killing the mock."I just wanted to see if i could have a little fun with Andy. Then Dolfan totally spurred me on when he said i was making a "convincing argument" lol.Oh well. Least we weren't bored between picks.Irritated maybe, but not bored.

Yeah, thanks for wasting my time. I won't bother coming back to this thread personally. Fishing with the Fitz thread too? Because that's a little on the nutty side also.

About the absolute worst the FBG shark pool has to offer. Sorry I got caught up in it.

Nah I'm stand firm on my statement that Fitzgerald is the only thing AZ has going for it. I've provided some reasons why. If you disagree and can provide counter points, cool. If you disagree and don't feel like bothering to provide counter arguments then buzz off.

I really dont understand why this has to be so hard?

I understand if your not going to be by your computer for a couple of hours.........than dont sign up.

We stated to only sign up if you were going to be committed.

Please, lets get this going

Sorry to sound like an A-- but come on

Since we're doing trades and there is a need, any interest in Kolb for the Vikes #12 overall Mr. Dufresne?

Well, uh. This is unexpected. And while I'm still not sold on him at all, the pick has GOT to be:

1.12 - Blaine Gabbert, QB Missouri

The one thing that the Vikings have to be looking for in a QB is accuracy. Gabbert has that if he doesn't have great arm strength. Throwing to Harvin and Rice, both of whom are great YAC guys, Gabbert could be quite productive.

Calm down. You realize you're writing this at 9 o'clock on a Friday?

Refer to the OP he was already picked at 6.

Let's try this again...

1.12 - Jake Locker, QB Washington

I've actually come around on Locker. His ability to throw on the run is a good skill to have and I like the reports of his technique improving with just a little coaching this offseason. I think he has the talent to be a franchise QB and would be very satisfied if the Vikes selected him.

Good pick. Locker has a nice arm, and with some coaching, could be throwing deep strikes to two top tier receivers for years. Cheers.

Man, this has to be the most embarrassing moment in NFL draft history. :lmao:

A big reach! Definitely the Vikes biggest need & a sexier pick than an OL I guess.

Only less than a year ago Locker was billed as a can't miss QB prospect. He's slipped lately, but still has a hell of a lot of upside and a nice team around him.

Spielman and Frazier have been stressing BPA in their latest interviews. I am hoping they are being truthful because I would be disitraught if they took Locker there.

Who would you want them to take if it fell like this?

If this is true on April 28, I'd bet the Patriots would package some deal to get Quinn. Maybe a 3rd and a future pick?

You would prefer Locker over Kolb?

If this is a mock of the 2011 draft, I'm not sure allowing player trades that will not be allowed to happen makes much sense.
