How do you figure?I'd be more concerned about when branch and hacket return than when Alexander gets his cast off. Their return will help him more than the cast coming off.
That, and if he grows a heart will = production from SAGetting the cast off will be a huge boost to SA. Having the cast on has changed the way he likes to run. He can't switch the ball to the other hand when he wants to, and of course the stiff arm is not possible. Do I think he will be the same SA of old? No, but he is certainly better than what he has shown so far. That and the OL isn't helping matters either.
Like the Bears with Benson, do you think the line will all of a sudden get better? I would look in a different direction.Getting the cast off will be a huge boost to SA. Because teams are stacking the box because Seattle has no deep or intermediate threat with Branch and Hackett out???How do you figure?I'd be more concerned about when branch and hacket return than when Alexander gets his cast off. Their return will help him more than the cast coming off.
I watched the games against Pitt and SF, and the entire opposing defenses were "in the box" all game long.Because teams are stacking the box because Seattle has no deep or intermediate threat with Branch and Hackett out???How do you figure?I'd be more concerned about when branch and hacket return than when Alexander gets his cast off. Agreed. Not replacing DJax is looking like a bad move. Plus he lost his FB.I watched the games against Pitt and SF, and the entire opposing defenses were "in the box" all game long.Because teams are stacking the box because Seattle has no deep or intermediate threat with Branch and Hackett out???How do you figure?I'd be more concerned about when branch and hacket return than when Alexander gets his cast off. Plus they are playing a nickle defense much of the time which allows blitzing from the corners and more speed on the field to pursue the run. Alexander hasn't been good but he's also not getting any clear lanes and when he does they are closing fast because teams are using indirect pressure. In the Pittsburgh game Seattle had time to throw but their WRs had no chance of getting open. Pittsburgh's secondary is very good but Burleson and Obumanu run crappy patterns and Engram is only a threat within the 5 to 15 yard range and is not meant to be a primary or even secondary weapon. Engram is a good slot guy and a good option on 2nd and 3rd and short. All you have to do as a defense is play the short pass and run on running downs and play the short to intermediate zones on pass/run downs or straight pass downs. Seattle counters this with the 3rd and 9 FB dive play. Not replacing DJax? What's Branch? Before two fluke injuries they had one of the deepest WR talents pools in the league. And in the next 2 weeks should get both their top WRs back.Agreed. Link? And Roto#### is the worst fantasy site on the planet!!Also read on rotoworld that the Hawks are leaning towards a three-way time share at RB for the rest of the season with Weaver and Morris. SA is looking like a RB4 at best for the rest of the season. This could be the week he busts out, but if you have any other options I would start them ahead of him. I am playing Ryan Grant ahead of him in one league and LenDale White in another.
This is somewhat expected as they were giving Weaver and Morris a lot of carries in the second half against the Rams. During times when most teams run down the clock Holmgren was splitting up the carries between the 3 and pretty much pulled Shaun for the 4th. A part is to protect him but largely because the other two were running it better. Womack is back from injury and practiced at both guards spots. He might help improve the blocking, but only for the quarter and a half before he gets hurt again. IF there's any game for SA to break out this is it, but I am not hopeful. At this point, when he meets any resistance he can't even fall forward so if the other two guys can at least do that I don't think Holmgren with stick with Shaun based just on his rep and paycheck. Also read on rotoworld that the Hawks are leaning towards a three-way time share at RB for the rest of the season with Weaver and Morris. I said that about the NO game. Shaun sucks, he is done. Offered him basically straight up for DJ Hackett in a dynasty league.IF there's any game for SA to break out this is it, but I am not hopeful. And the Rams game. I haven't cut him yet because I have room. But I didn't even consider starting him this week.I said that about the NO game. Shaun sucks, he is done.
