I have Eli and Hill. FBG has Hill rated over Eli and the Giants against Dallas. Eli threw 4TDs 306 yards with 3 picks at Dallas week 7. The Bills are bad, but the reports were that Hill was having problems making handoffs with the left hand. Last time Hill was at QB Calvin Johnson was below average, and came back big on Staffords return (except for the Jets Game). Lions WR Calvin Johnson played under Bills coach Chan Gailey at Georgia Tech from 2004-06. Does he know a way to take him out of the game?

we get 3 pts per td toss and .05 per passing yard.

Dallas is team that is falling apart with a possible up tick with a new head coach. Giants are the best in the NFL right now and have Dallas incoming into their house.

I just saw that Steve Smith had an injury, is that enough to not play Eli?

what do You Sharks think?

Eli is the safer QB to produce this week.

I have the same option but I can't play Hill on the road against Buffalo who has had played both the Chiefs and the Ravens tough this year. Even if the Lions were home I'd have to play Eli.

When was the last time the Lions won on the road? That's right it was 2007. They could very well win today but to expect big fantasy numbers from Hill is not wise. Last I read he was having trouble taking direct snaps or handing off.

Eli is on fire right now and plays a team in free-fall, at home. His only downside is getting pulled in the 4th qtr but he usually has about 300yds and 3tds by then.

I think Eli is the safer play plus the Bills are just about last if not last against run defense. If you're the Lions, and you have a backup QB AND that guy has a broken left forearm, you can't tell me their game plan isn't to use your rookie 1st round pick in Best and take advantage of that.Should Hill have a decent game for you Hill starters, sure he should. But for me, when you add in all the possible variables, Eli is the safer play. Obviously it's well within the realm of possibility that Hill outpoints Eli Manning this week too.

Hill has put up as good a numbers as Eli this year if you take the 3 games Stafford played and figure in what Hill's stats would be if he started those games. Hill is in an offense that throws quite a bit and is facing one of the worst if not the worst defense in the NFL. Eli faces the Cowboys who have mailed it in or at least they did under Wade Phillips, we will have to see how they play now. In either case, the Cowboys defense can get to the QB and Eli can have a stinker if they do that (See Colts game).

If the Cowboys tank this is probably a bad prediction as you'd want that QB facing a team that's thrown in the towel but I don't think you can plan on that. It'll just sorta happen some weeks and that'll be gravy. Rest of the time, it's gotta be that these Cowboys are a talented team despite their record.
