Assuming he's performing in practice and appears basically ready, I suspect they will follow your advice. I wouldn't throw him out there to get clobbered, but experience would be good.

Cleo Lemon was one of HC Cam Cameron's personal faves. Lemon was an undrafted FA QB that signed with San Diego (Cam liked him) but eventually was part of that one trade to Miami. Now Cam is in Miami and he still likes Lemon. Who knows, one of these guys should put up, after all, Cam had a hand in Gus Frerotte's 1994 Pro Bowl season.
