Turtles All the Way Down
I would have given a like for this title alone - even though it was not your official pick.

Turtles all the way down - in general

From Terry Pratchett's Discworld series:

In a distant and secondhand set of dimensions, in an astral plane that was never meant to fly, the curling star-mists waver and part…

See…

Great A’Tuin the turtle comes, swimming slowly through the interstellar gulf, hydrogen frost on his ponderous limbs, his huge and ancient shell pocked with meteor craters. Through sea-sized eyes that are crusted with rheum and asteroid dust He stares fixedly at the Destination.

In a brain bigger than a city, with geological slowness, He thinks only of the Weight.

Most of the weight is of course accounted for by Berilia, Tubul, Great T’Phon and Jerakeen, the four giant elephants upon whose broad and star-tanned shoulders the Disc of the World rests, garlanded by the long waterfall at its vast circumference and domed by the baby-blue vault of Heaven.

However - the song is great too.

I've seen Jesus play with flames in a lake of fire that I was standing in
Met the devil in Seattle and spent 9 months inside the lion's den
Met Buddha yet another time and he showed me a glowing light within
But I swear that God is there every time I glare in the eyes of my best friend
Says my son it's all been done and someday your gonna wake up old and gray
So go and try to have some fun showing warmth to everyone
You meet and greet and cheat along the way

There's a gateway in our mind that leads somewhere out there beyond this plane
Where reptile aliens made of light cut you open and pull out allyour pain
Tell me how you make illegal something that we all make in our brain
Some say you might go crazy but then again it might make you go sane

Every time I take a look inside inside that old and fabled book
I'm blinded and reminded of the pain caused by some old man in the sky
Marijuana, LSD, Psilocybin, and DMT
They all changed the way I see
But love's the only thing that ever saved my life

So don't waste your mind on nursery rhymes
Or fairy tales of blood and wine
It's turtles all the way down the line
So to each their own til' we go home
To other realms our souls must roam
To and through the myth that we all call space and time
❤️

293. Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats - Wasting Time

Also heavily considered: I Need Never Get Old and You Worry Me.

Could have been any of these three depending on my mood.  Tonight it's Wasting Time.
I don't think this song is anywhere near my favorite but its still a great song.  My current favorites are probably Still Out There Running, Babe I Know and Tearing At The Seams

He's a regular on all of my laying by the pool playlists. nothing more relaxing on a nice summer day than getting high, some Ratecliff playing on the Bluetooth, floating on a raft in the pool and staring at the sky

a month ago I'm playing in a golf outing and I'm a guy who likes to play music while I golf, depending on the crowd I'm playing with.  so I put on Nathaniel and just let the ipod play through 2 albums.  at some point one of the guys I'm playing with, an older guy probably approaching 60, asks who it is and how its some of the coolest stuff he's heard

***OFFICIAL*** replacement for pick 983.

The Chemical Brothers - The Golden Path

There you go,  @urbanhack
Really good.

This kills me:

I paused in cosmic reflection
Confused on wondering
Of how I came to die

Hm!
I was confused
Coz if I was dead
How and why did I die
And I composed myself
And decided I should face it

Full lyrics:

As I walked along
The supposed golden path
I was confronted
By mysterious spectre
He pointed to the graveyard
Over on yonder hill
I paused in cosmic reflection
Confused on wondering
Of how I came to die

Hm!
I was confused
Coz if I was dead
How and why did I die
And I composed myself
And decided I should face it

Then I stood paralyzed
On the supposed golden path
And I was confronted
By powerful demon force
And there was the devil
And we spoke his words
Flowed like glowing lava from the mouth of a volcano
And I said:
Help me, Lord!!
I found myself in some kinda hell
But I did not believe in heaven and hell
World in opposites kind of reality

But I gained control of myself
And decided to press on

As I walked along
The supposed golden path
I was trembling with fear
All the lions and the wizards yet to come
I seen in the distance
Silver mountains rising high in the clouds
And a voice from above did whisper
Some shining answer from the moon

Please forgive me
I never meant to hurt you

The Zombies were just inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. They performed this song, as well as their other hits. My wife and I were watching, and I was amazed. Colin Blunstone was hitting every note like he was 20 years old. The dude still has pipes. It was an amazing performance.
Just saw that HOF performance. Blunstone was indeed amazing and sounded as fresh as ever.

Colin also contributed vocals on a few Alan Parsons songs.

Well put. Susanna Hoffs in her introduction said how enamored she was of Colin's voice. And when her eyes talk, people listen.

Hoffs and Hope Sandoval, for me ... two more gorgeous creatures never warbled into a mic - i've long been in deeeeeeeeeep smit
