Gorilla glue? That’s good stuffAll 3?
Maybe...
It smells good.
Lets see - OG Gorilla - I think.
Oh yeah I know, we call it gorilla glue. Smoke it and you won’t ever be able to get off the couch.Gorilla OG - I mixed it up. Related to GG.
Actually, I respond weird to weed - in part because of my natural chemistry - and this #### gives my energy and drive. I have another strain for my sleep time. I won't be going to bed for a few hours.Oh yeah I know, we call it gorilla glue. Smoke it and you won’t ever be able to get off the couch.

I may even do some housework if things slow down here.
Fun. Sweet.Nice. I’m turning in in 20. I’ve got to get up in 6 hours for work and then deal with a long weekend of fun!
Summer break starts June 15 untill the Tuesday after Labor Day. I work summer school which is 20 hours a week.Fun. Sweet.
What and when is summer break for you? Off? Part-time? etc?
2 weeks. Not far.Summer break starts June 15 untill the Tuesday after Labor Day. I work summer school which is 20 hours a week.
In the summer? Its more tutoring, I have a caseload of kids doing online classes and I tutor them, manage their progress, etc.2 weeks. Not far.
I did a 20 hour week for a while - maybe a year - years ago. It did me a lot of good.
Do you get to teach something or is it admin?
Very cool. I'm sure they all won't be "fun", but it is a great thing to do.In the summer? Its more tutoring, I have a caseload of kids doing online classes and I tutor them, manage their progress, etc.
It’s not bad at all. Summer school is way easier because the kids there all care since it’s voluntary and if they are difficult we can actually kick them out.Very cool. I'm sure they all won't be "fun", but it is a great thing to do.

Wow. Wouldn't have gone in a wildly different direction here, but probably one of my favorite bands, all-time.
This is my first. Got 1 oz. Hope to get more next prescription.GG#4
is fire when it's good
Yeah. lots of misinfo.more weed chat would be great for the board.
so many great ones to choose from, my particular favorite is a deeper cut from "Armed Forces" ('79 may have been the greatest year evah for albums, imo) ... bonus for MoX - lyrics on screen ...
Cool for CatsA quick google of "songs about cats" gave me only three top choices from the 70s: (1) "Honky Cat" by Elton John, which no person would ever choose as their Elton John song; (2) "Cool for Cats" by Squeeze, but shuke already took "Tempted" by them earlier, and (3) my therefore-default answer, "Year of the Cat" by Al Stewart.

My favorite Heart song. This song kicks some of the most ### of all songs. Good choice.
You missed the revelation that this list is 962 songs plus the 41 songs from Freedom Rock.I’m back from ten days away. What did I miss?
This song is big in Pittsburgh. WDVE must play it weekly if not more often. Great song but if you’ve heard it a thousand times, it’s a dial-changer.
Almost as difficult to choose a single Elvis Costello song as it is for the Beatles. So many great choices.
Rockin' this right now on the turntable.
Top 10 song for me.1001. Simon and Garfunkel - The Boxer
Not sure what happened here. I could have sworn it was in my list at some point, but maybe I accidentally deleted it. Should be somewhere in the middle of the top 100.
I've settled in for my Friday evening with some wine and shuke's thread. Looks like this was my last post here, meaning I have...ummm...15 pages and about 120 songs to get through. No problem!Love him hard. Saw him play at Martyr's in Chicago after release of his first record (2000-2001ish?). He wrote the songs on the first record when he was 17 IIRC, recorded it at 18, and was touring just after. He was incredibly mature in his sound and songwriting skill, as well as his live performance, as only a teenager! I've been hooked ever since. My favorites from the first record (Faces Down): Dead Passengers Mother Nature Sleep on Needles
looking forward to plenty of comments and related stories - just opened a new handle of Seagrams VO bourbon and have plenty of diet coke.I've settled in for my Friday evening with some wine and shuke's thread. This is a song I feel like I shouldn't still love, but I do. Saw them in Chicago on the tour for that record, and it might have been the loudest show I've ever been to. I was surprised they rocked so hard.
Good reminder to me that there's no good reason I haven't listened to a lot more of this band than I have.
Started playing this one and Mr. krista called out from the kitchen, "What's that? Are you playing The Cure?" Sounds just like The Cure. I like The Cure. This goes on my "check out more of their stuff" list.
Great band name. Enjoyed the song a lot, too. Probably would be even better if I smoked pot.
Did not enjoy the hair of anyone in this band. Also not so much the song.
WOW. That's a great cover, but even better is that guy's face. I don't mean it's handsome, but it's compelling and endlessly fascinating. Good call for them to have the video be just of his face. I could watch it forever. This is a great find.294. Charles Bradley - Changes
Confession time. I had no idea this was a Black Sabbath tune until @mr. furley started a thread about it.
Nice! Rocks. Happy to see this so high.
I clicked "quote" in order to say something here but then read further and saw that everything I would have said had already been covered. Damn it.
HOLY ####! No likes or loves or comments on this one?!?! I was prepared just to say "great band name," but this is one my favorite new discoveries you've posted. Love the organ. Love the dancing. Love the vibe. This strikes me as a band that would be a huge blast to see live. I'm going to look into it.
I see Binky already linked the cover of Here Comes The Sun, which is my favorite, so I'll give you Strawberry Fields Forever instead. God I loved this guy.
Or Too Many Zooz, turned the same but with only two guys and in a NY subway station.Dave B's Take 5 - turned up to 13 with pedal effects.
I strongly considered him for one of my three guest picks. My choice would be Time Has Told Me, but there are plenty of ways to go. His singing and the feel of the songs are so beautiful that it seems some people overlook what a phenomenal guitar player he was. My friends who are real musicians admire his style greatly. This song showcases his guitar well.271. Nick Drake - Place To Be
Such a beautiful sound. Such a tragic story.
Also considered: Northern Sky, Free Ride
Aha! I got it! (Would have been much more impressive to have guessed it without googling "songs about cats," though.)Fist time ever hearing this- I like it
Quoting myself! I always thought that the Damien Rice song "Delicate" sounded like a bit of an homage to "Time Has Told Me," at least in the guitar part.I strongly considered him for one of my three guest picks. Damn, to get to that link, I had to play the YouTube, and now I might just listen to this over and over again all night. His phrasing is astonishing. Now I'm sad.
One of my friends has been in their touring band for about five years. I have stories. Will need more wine, though.
I'm digging it. Strong Tragically Hip vibe working.Did not enjoy the hair of anyone in this band. Also not so much the song.
i think he's potting it up.Is anyone else here tonight? Like, e.g., shuke?
