Sid Caesar has passed away (1 Viewer)

R.I.P.

Legendary comedian. Just watched It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World several weeks ago, he was hysterical in a few scenes (prop plane and getting locked into the hardware store and having to improvise with materials at hand to escape). Need to rewatch My Favorite Year (also with the recently passed away Peter O'Toole).

* Didn't see this, got rid of the other redundant thread.

Before most of our times here, but from what the skits I've seen, very funny dude.

RIP RIP, little Caesar

Mickey Rooney is the only living (lead) member of the cast. Caesar and Jonathan Winters both died this year. Dorothy Provine and Edie Adams.passed away a few years earlier.

So all the money belongs to Rooney if still has the strength to dig it up.

"I am not an actor, I am a Movie Star!"

Funny, funny guy. I got turned on to Show of Shows through a documentary my folks dragged me to when I was a kid... pretty dated, but some hilarious stuff and obvious birthplace of sketch comedy. Imogene Coca

Also a big fan of Mad Mad and Favorite Year... looked him up to see what else he was in movie-wise- not much of note.
