Without checking, Miami in a game the Pats wanted to lose (because they wanted to play the Jags in the playoffs). IIRC, they barely played their starters and still almost won (even though they didn't want to).

Good call. I remember that game now. Matt Casell was leading them down the field and the play call they gave him near the goal line was a weird PA bootleg where had to throw on th run. I remember BB wasn't very happy he almost had to face Pitt in the 1st rd because his backup was executing.

Thanks Chase. That is interesting.I'm guessing most of those teams had a running game though.J
No point in guessing. Here's a look at the #s.'07 8th ranked rush O 4.1 yds/carry'06 12th 3.9'05 24th 3.4'04 7th 4.1'03 27th 3.4'02 28th 3.8'01 13th 3.8Most of those teams were pretty mediocre running the ball, too.

Assuming the Pats don't blow HFA, they're on the road only for the NYG game on their quest to SB42. Up to five home games and one road game.
