Yeah I love it ! It went live a week or two ago and I couldnt be happier.Thats as long as Jerry Rice isn't on the air. He is the G.O.A.T. as far as the NFL goes but he is absolutely the worst as far as a radio host goes. The man can not form a sentence.I tried to pick up NFL Radio on the Sirius web site (streaming it) when I first signed up for Sirius, but only the music stations were available online. Now the NFL channel 124 is available online. How am I ever going to get any work done now?
I was experiencing DNS errors at work up until a day or two ago...its working again for me now...This has been live now for about a week but I have a question for any techies out there on listening to Sirius online. Apparently, my work firewall now prevents me from listening online. I know there are ways around this since my FF league website at My Fantasy League has an IP address with just numbers that works. Does anyone know another way IP address or way to listen to the Sirius site and get around the firewall issues? Thanks for any help you can provide. BTW, "Moving the Chains" with TRock and PK is the absolute most informative and best show on Sirius IMO.
I am getting "Access denied" so I need to find a way to "fool" the contect blocker or firewall into letting me view the page like I have done with Myfantastyleague.com. To go to my ff site at work, the address is something like: 23.146.289/siteAny ideas anyone on what the IP "number" address would be for Sirius? I was under the impression that every site has a number address behind the words and www... we type in. ??I was experiencing DNS errors at work up until a day or two ago...its working again for me now...This has been live now for about a week but I have a question for any techies out there on listening to Sirius online. Concur, Pat Kirwan "rocks."BTW, "Moving the Chains" with TRock and PK is the absolute most informative and best show on Sirius IMO.
Conversely, Adam Schein is the worst ever. He is a phoney-baloney, know-nothing, cliche spewing fool. I refuse to listen to him and can't understand how he has a job.Concur, Pat Kirwan "rocks."BTW, "Moving the Chains" with TRock and PK is the absolute most informative and best show on Sirius IMO.

Disagree....I love Shein and his energy on moving the chains. I have had Sirius from the beginning and believe me when BMac subs in for Shein it is awful and then BMac and Jim Miller it does not get worse than that. Shein is an asset!Conversely, Adam Schein is the worst ever. He is a phoney-baloney, know-nothing, cliche spewing fool. Sirrius charges 12.95 monthly. If you subscribe for a while you can get discounts. I love it. Howard Stern, NFL, it is unreal! Well worth the buck. It simply works through an FM frequency in your car, easy to install, I love it!How much is the Sirius monthly charge? There is a monthly charge, right?![]()
I too am experiencing the same problem. Schein is on the Afternoon Blitz. I like Miller with Schein but I agree, with McGovern it does get a bit boring.I love Shein and his energy on moving the chains. 66.77.49.161But, it's going to redirect to another page and probably be blocked by the firewall.simmonjm said:I too am experiencing the same problem. Yes, you will have to also purchase a home kit. I only drive about 15 minutes each way to work, but get a lot of use out of it on other driving trips, at home, and on line. When I work outside, I turn it on in my car and the stereo in the garage picks it up. Good music or NFL talk for trimming the shrubs. Can a receiver that hooks up to your car also be plugged in to some type of home system? My commute to and from work is only about 20 minutes there and 20 minutes home.I would probably use this more sitting here at home while typing on football message boards.![]()
One must remember that TRock is married to an Oakland Raiders cheerleader, but I'll listen to anything Pat Kirwan is on. He is a breath of fresh air (except when talking about the retired players and their whining). And Buddy Ball, boy do I agree with you about the Warrior and Bam Bam, but by far the worst is Adrian from Pittsburgh who argues incessantly that Ben Rothlisberger is a better quarterback than Carson Palmer. I change the station every time he and some of the other "regulars" come on. I really wish they would discourage the regulars, not give them theme songs and extra airplay.Well this thread was started in 2006Hey, anytime we can get the ladies on there talkin' football I'm all for it. As for T-Rock and the flirting, every Friday from 2-3 is Ladies Night on Moving the Chains. T-Rock tries to penetrate the A gap and learn what positions the ladies are into. I got no problem with it, its an hour thats free of BAM BAM the Chiefs fan and the all knowing Warrior.
If your going to be listening in front of the computer, just use your car subscription to log on online. Don't need to have great speakers connected to your computer for talk radio (on a recent road trip just used the speakers in my laptop, wouldn't work well for the music stations though). Can a receiver that hooks up to your car also be plugged in to some type of home system?
