Smithsonian chan is the ####...like History chan, with, like..history (1 Viewer)

My cable provider just added it as part of my package or something.

It's like it's 1998 all over again.

Great diversity of shows.

Pyramids, WW2, Japan, UFOs, nature stuff and Ariel America...where they just fly over cities and give you information (I can watch this for days on end)

No dumb reality shows about people cutting down trees or following around a fat idiot making fun of his grandfather sitting in a chair who died 3 weeks ago but no one realizes it yet.

Love it. However they ripped it out of the pkg I had and put it in an additional pkg of $5/mo. with unrelated channels - Hallmark, Palladio and some #### movie channels. Same kind of deal with the Esquire channel that a had some good programs on it.

The History Channel definitely lost its way, I agree turn it on and... no history, just reality tv. This was what happened to MTV.

yea, was part of some package that cost some $ as well. I never got it but saw the channel on my lineup.

Watching sky view now. They fly around different parts of europe filming aerial shots of the terrain and talk about the history of that area. Aerial america is another show like it.
