Sneaky QB play this week (1 Viewer)

Ryan Fitzpatrick vs. Jacksonville's sorry defense. Two TD passes in each of the last two games, including one against the Jets. 74 yards rushing vs. Jets, though I wouldn't expect more than 1/3 of that in the future.

With injuries and some of the bad QBs out there, I think he could put up decent numbers this week.

Agree/disagree?

Not bad. I could see him lucking into 2 TDs. I'd vote for Josh Freeman against a not-so-formidable Cincinnati defense.

I'll counter with a Garrard vs Buffalo. I know he's on the road, but still like his chances.

Garrard on the road? Man, maybe, but thats a big risk. How about Gradowski vs. the Chargers without a couple starters on D?

I will have to warn you...the Bills, as we know, were completely abysmal last week and, being a Bills homer, was listening to Gailey's post game conference and he said that if RF didn't get something going on the drive that he scored the 2nd TD, he was going to pull him for Brohm to get him some reps.

I will say that his hustle and heart on a couple of plays was highly regarded amongst a lot of people both in the locker room and around the league, which may buy him some room to survive.

Make no mistake though, the Bills are going to be playing Brohm soon to evaluate what they have and I would hate to see that occur in the middle of a game when people are looking for some quality production from the QB position.

Shaun Hill is a better bet this week.
Shaun Hill has had a couple of huge games in a row. i don't think he's 'sneaky.' People see Buffalo and run the other way. Meanwhile, Fitzpatrick has been solid. Is Hill a lock to start? Isn't Stafford coming back this week - or is he still a couple of weeks away?

Disagree. Fitzpatrick's suckitude outranks any favorable matchup. I think the sneaky play this week is actually Cassel at Indy.

I'm predicting GTD and he plays. They have been saying week 5 for 2 weeks now and there is no indiciation that things aren't progressing as expected. Hopefully we will know more this afternoon.

I haven't see anything anywhere which would indicate Stafford is coming back this week...he is just now starting to throw.

I wouldn't expect him back until week 8 following his bye week....he should be fully healthy and ready to go by then...this Lions fromt office doesn't want to chance injuring the face of their franchise by rushing him back

:goodposting:

Glad I went with this guy. Not a tremendous game - only 220 yards passing, but a solid 3 TDs ... If only Matt Schaub would have had a better game I would have had a good week.
