Snelling or Tolbert? (1 Viewer)

I own Turner and Mathews also. I have Snelling as my top WW claim. I think both Mathews and Turner will play Sunday, but I'm more concerned about Turner going forward. I'm 3rd in waiver priority, so I fully expect to miss out on both.

I think I'm going to actually put in Marshawn Lynch ahead of those two. My order would be Lynch -> Snelling -> Tolbert simply because I don't think Turner will play for every single game and we've all seen what Snelling does when given a full load.

This makes sense, and I'm leaning this way also. Turner's season was killed by a nagging injury last year, and a groin injury in Week Two is a definite concern.

I am going for Snelling. He has shown what he can do with the full load - both this year and last. I am not sold with Tolbert having a good game vs a poor Jax team. I also think a groin injury is something that is more likely to resurface thereby opening up an opportunity for Snelling. The other part I like about him over Tolbert is Snelling will get the entire load in Atlanta (no Turner or Norwood) whereas Tolbert would still have to share touches with Sproles.

Is Snelling a worthy pickup even if you don't own Turner?
yes sir of course.. I really like this snelling.. even last year when turner was hurt snelling put up huge numbers when given starter carries.. 3 games last year of 20 points or more and them were basically only games he was given opportunity to do much... 186 yards and 3 tds with 5 catches is huge.. With Norwood on IR and turner being known for being inj prone lately and a sore groin which linger I like snelling alot and def go with him over Tolbert

I see Tolbert having more bye week potential and Snelling being more of the lottery ticket. I went with Snelling. If the groin becomes a serious issue, I have a starter. If it remains merely a nagging concern, I have a Turner owner who should be entertaining a trade with me (if he's smart).

The Turner owner in my dynasty league offered me Dante Stallworth and a 2011 3rd round pick.

I ended up getting Tolbert. Looks like maybe I lucked out since Turner practiced today and Mathews did not.

Tolbert gives you more consistency and the goal line carries even with Mathews in the game.

Snelling gives you a player you can start and help push you to the superbowl if Turner should go down since Norwood is also out and Matt Ryan cannot throw it 35 times for the Falcons to be successful. They have to run the ball.

I put in bids on Tolbert, Snelling AND Keiland Williams....

If I got all three, it pretty much blew my 100 FA cap...but I didn't think that would happen....

Bids were up at 6pm tonight...I just checked them... YEP, I got all three. Not sure how I feel since now I have

no bid money left and sitting on one kicker, one TE, and one DEF.

Hearing about Matthews high ankle sprain made it a little easier to take, but I have a little buyer's remorse

right now.

High ankle sprain?!??! I hadn't read that anywhere. I'm hurting at RB but got both Snelling and Tolbert on the wire. I'm seriously looking at throwing one of them into my lineup. SEA plays tough at home but maybe Tolbert is worth a start if Mathews will be that limited. Hmmmmm......

Sorry - just woke up and just saw the thread about the high ankle sprain - yep that puts Tolbert right into my starting lineup!!!

I'm shooting for depth, keeper league. Putting in for Snelling. He's playing on a 1-year deal, and could be the next Michael Turner.

Were I trying to pick up somebody to start, I'd go with Tolbert as my first pickup request.
