** SNF - Dolphins at Patriots** (+1.5, 46.5) (1 Viewer)

You gotta pace yourself when your home town team is on SNF...
I get excited for the 1:00 kick offs and then somewhere in the 4:30 games I need a nap

What is your drink of choice today?
Started with an German Choc Cake Stout from Angry Chair
-Little too sweet n heavy, laid off that after the first pour

Next was Diamond Dust-Pure Project, Hazy IPA from SoCal maybe San Diego or somewhere out there, very nice flavor
-We're going thru a tour of craft beers mostly, trying to not over do them before kick off.
-Some other cans in the fridge include "Ectogasm" from Drekker-North Dakota, really like that one. Hop Butcher(Illinois)-Orange Fly and Other Half "Green City" are all chilling

-I have a few easy crushers more in the 4-5% range, one in particular called Bee's Squeeze from Copperpoint-Boynton Beach, Blonde/Kolsch with a little honey and orange in it

It's one thing to beat the Chargers without a starting Left Tackle
Bill Belichick is going to disrupt Tua tonight and blitz off that Left side IMHO
Coach BB can also pick on Austin Jackson

Could Miami ever have the upper hand and be full strength vs the Patriots?
Tempted to take the Patriots and the points now

Miami needs to see Chubb show up tonight or you gotta start calling him a BUST in that Denver trade plus they paid him a LOT OF MONEY trying to fast track a pass rush

Let's see is Ogbah and Chubb can earn that $$$

Achane Brooks both active ... will MMcD run it like crazy this game? Wouldn't put it past him

Patriots inactives: CB Jonathan Jones, ST Ameer Speed, OLB Anfernee Jennings, OT Sidy Sow, OT Trent Brown, WR Kayshon Boutte, DT Sam Roberts. Jones' ankle injury in Thursday's practice was significant enough to knock him out of the game, as he is often a key cog against Tyreek Hill. It could be Marcus Jones' time to step in. Also, veteran WR DeVante Parker (knee) returns, along with starting guards Cole Strange and Mike Onwenu.

Jones and Brown are very big losses...hopefully Strange and Onwenu can step right in after long layoffs.

Trent Brown, Jonathan Jones out for NE. Boutte also out (healthy scratch?).

Good luck tonight, admire the effort both of you put forth in your posts.
I'll try and behave tonight but I really feel like Miami should wax them
That usually leads to a terrible night

Miami is far better at the skill positions but when it comes to defense, Coach BB is the master of disruption and making opposing offenses look stupid quite often
I also would like to see Tua standing upright all night, worried about both Tackle spots and would like to see mostly quick hits on the passes, try to stay away from the 5 or 7 step drops, just quick reads and take whatever the defense allows.

I'm sure the Patriots will want to keep Tua on Tyreek on the sidelines as much as possible, healthy does of Rhamondre and the short high % passes for Jones.
Cheers!

Darth will scheme to limit Hill. Jones and Pats O look better with O'Brien this year.
Just a Sunday Night feeling here...

Foxborough Patriots- 27
Miami Dade Dolphins- 23

O line for both teams will be the key.

It's either going to be a good, competitive game, or it's going to feature a divisional rival getting their butts kicked on national television. Either way, should be a fun evening.

Phins 22
Pats 20

-Low scoring, lot of drives that settle for FG attempts, Miami squeaks one out for once

"MoP, they won 36-34 last week"
-Alright, Twice!

Pats 1st down, 2nd Down, 3rd and short and they convert
Eating time and moving the ball on Miami, already out to midfield and winning the field position battle

I used to be extremely jealous of teams that "Scripted" their 1st 10-20 plays as if it didn't matter what the Defense does, they were running these plays

-McDaniel and Miami starting to feel that way, new feeling for Miami fans
Great opening drive but they do settle for a FG try

Missed opp inside the Pats 5-yd line
