So hungover this morning I accidently wore two different shoes (1 Viewer)

Passed on the once a month food truck rodeo at my building and opted instead to take SWC's advice.  Granted, his advice was for RoknRol, but I thought I might sample it anyhow.  I could have waited for another day, I suppose, but things put off have a way of becoming things not done.
True dat. there is always next month for the food truck rodeo!

So I went to Panera.  I ordered the mac n' cheese in a bread bowl.  The attractive asianed girl taking my order said she was not certain they do that.  Her attractive asianed manager said that they could and she would ring it up.  She asked if I wanted the bread bowl pre-warmed.   I said I was going to follow her lead on that.  She smiled. She warmed it.  She came bye while I was eating and asked if that warm bread bowl was working for me.  For a moment I wondered about being single and 3 decades or so younger.  She smiled and said I should stop in again real soon.  I took a nap, too much carbs.  SWC may be a friggin genius.
brohan you just made my weekend its honest to god good bam panera for the win take that to the things that are neat bank

Busy dinner service last night. Got back home to the store counter at 12:02 and the guy wouldn't sell me beer because if some stupid law. I yelled at him because I was on line for at least 4 minutes while he struggled to make change. I was spitting mad but left before I lost my cool.

They can start selling beer at 7 am so I'm hammered now. It's my day off.

Didn't you say you had a problem with abuse before? You might want to take it easy, I don't think I am the only one that is starting to see a pattern here.

If I am mistaken then carry on.

I am not talking about how drunk you will be. It is okay to cheat once in a while, but stay on the wagon.
How do you think they got the booze from town to town back in the day?

On a wagon. You don't think they cracked open a few bottles on the way?

Last place I need to be is on the wagon.

Drunk by yourself at 9 AM? This is problem drinking.

You have a bit of a self-destructive bent. You need to make changes, man.

I think I finally share your rage. I lived in Texas for 5 years and I constantly  :wall: about this. Totally senseless.

He might want to start by not yelling at a cashier because of some dumb law the guy had nothing to do with.

I didn't yellat the guy. Instead of losing my cooliwent home and fell asleep for a few hours. That's called being an adult.
You need to keep your story straight otherwise readers lose interest.

Due to Texas law I couldn't drink from 12 am- 3am so I had to drink from 7am- 10am.
If you're drinking alone between 7 and 10 AM, you have a drinking problem. Not being judgmental, but if you want to keep this job and further this relationship, you have to do something about it

Time of day is all relative. Some people work odd hours and have to drink at odd hours. I'm at no risk at my job. I'm off today and not back until tomorrow at 1pm. I could have easily gone fishing at 7am and had a few cold ones.

If you say so. I've seen the warning signs before - drinking alone, compulsion to drink, drinking at odd hours (your explanation makes sense, but nevertheless....)

Put it all together and add the fact that you've said here (I believe) that you've had some addiction issues and I'm a little nervous here.

It's your life, I'm not here to make choices for you, I only ever intended to coach you on FBG etiquette so that the group at large can be a support system for you.

Add in the that he suffers from bouts of depression. RnR find ways other than alcohol to help you feel good about yourself. Your job and a chance at a relationship should have you feeling good. Don't add something that could swing things the other way for you.

I don't agree entirely with you on this point but if you don't want my response I'll leave it alone.

cmon Rok you dont need this guy telling you what to do! you got things under control here. the best thing for this single Mom and her 6 month old son is a 33 year old waiter that drinks alone until hes hammered at 9 am. still smoking the herb too? even better for Mommy and son! her dreams are coming true! prince charming has arrived!

I had a very busy dinner shift. Wanted to come home and unwind with a few beers and Xbox hockey, my usual end of night ritual.

Couldnt sleep well otherwise so I grabbed a few brews and have been playing today.
