So hungover this morning I accidently wore two different shoes (1 Viewer)

I don't want to do it is not a valid reason. Please get the help you need RNR. Even if it makes you uncomfortable. Start somewhere. Could it be any worse to go outside your comfort zone than the feeling of helplessness you are feeling now? I wish you the best and hope you take that one step forward.

i'm not getting sucked in and this will be my last post - but you have provided ZERO valid reasons.

Go to the county Human Services building or a hospital instead of making excuses.  Plenty of "poor" people get the help you are asking for.

But RnR SUPERGENIUS is too smart to figure that all out.

3... 2.... 1.... for next :fishing:  excuse

I say good day

Hospitals cost money. What is county human services? Like getting a social worker?

Seems to me a genius with access to the internet could get that figured out.  The list of things with which you are not familiar or of which you have never heard is staggering.
I'm sure there are plenty of people born poor that have been socially isolated their entire lives that haven't heard of a lot of things you consider common knowledge, especially when it comes to acquiring help. The system is set up to discourage people from ever finding the right direction to get help.

You have been dealing with this all your life. This is a long standing problem. As such, I hope you can realize there is no quick fix, no one stop solution, no single provider with a prescription that is going to fix any of this.

It's a marathon. It's a multi step process. It involves various providers with multiple aspects to help you feel better and get to a good place. And that involves taking a first step. You've been offered very good advice as to how to take that first step. None of those steps will fix you right away but you can't get fixed without taking that first step just like you can't win a marathon in the first mile but you also can't win one without running the first mile.

Your past experience sucks. You're not alone. But not every place is like that. The fact that you are in a new location may be a good thing. You need to followed the advice laid out here and either call the number, go to a clinic, or go to an ER and get the process started.  You've been given encouragement and direction in this thread, especially over the last couple of pages.

For once just follow it even if you think you know better. Because what you know and what you are doing now simply isn't working.

Ive been reading about this for weeks. You want me to just go to a group session?
There it is the suicide card again...that always seems to be his favorite card to be play when all other trolling options are failing. And yes FYI group sessions can be helpful in any situation. You realize you aren't alone in your feelings, other people actually are going through or have gone through what you are. Oh and they can actually help you get through whatever it is you're going through. But you aren't serious and are just :fishing:

Group sessions aren't psychiatrists.

But people are having fun! It's only online, what's the harm? I really hope I'll never be saying told ya so to some dolts in this thread.
This isn't the first time he has hit this button, seems all of this comes up when people start calling him out on his trolling. It's never the first topic and is always in response to negativity that he doesn't care for.

Rok,

Clearly you have more obstacles in your life than any person ever born.  Given that, it is only reasonable that you cannot help yourself or be helped.  You are unique, one of a kind, and the experiences of we non-unique individuals leaves us no point of reference for understanding your special hell.  You are a long suffering genius.  Your reality is beyond my keen.  It is beyond not just my understanding, but the understanding of all here, or anywhere, or who have ever lived.  Super genius that you are (You and Wile E. Coyote) one might think that by now you would have learned that trying to explain yourself to we lesser men is futile.  Geniuses are capable of learning things like that, are they not?

At any rate I'm bored. You have one act, one constantly repeating cycle. You are a woe is me machine.  You produce self pity like Detroit did cars back in the day.

Some parting drug store advice.  Endlessly repeating a failed strategy hoping for different results may not be the way to go.

Yours in Panera,

DW

The bare minimum would be to attend an AA meeting where you would be virtually invisible and you wouldn't even have to talk to anyone but you say you are too scared to interact with people. Yet you came to Dallas because of a management position with a staffing company where you interacted every day and interviewed people for work and now work at a restaurant where all you do is interact with people.

i have around 50k in government debt. What good reason is there for me to file taxes?
I'm sorry Mr. Genius, you lost the train of thought.  The discussion, initiated by you, was not whether you should pay taxes or file tax returns, but whether you might be capable of learning to do so.

I don't interact with them on a personal level. I'm playing a character, not myself.

Why would I talk to someone that doesn't know me? What good is that going to do for someone disconnected from the world?
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

You think they can't help but you don't know for sure. The cost is free other than some of your time & you've commented several times how you have too much free time on your hands.

Do something different.

Call the number. Visit a group session & just listen. Go to a church & talk to someone (they'll listen).

Break your pattern & try something different.

Good luck.

Those reviews of their "services" are very comforting. If you are poor you can't get help.

What are you talking about?
HUMAN SERVICES ARE THERE TO HELP THE UNFORTUNATE/POOR.   That's literally their job.

To help or point you in the right direction.   You refuse to follow the process  :fishboy:

Here's a plan you are capable of executing.  Walk into the nearest IRS office.  Turn yourself in.  Confess your tax crimes.  Get charged.  Plead guilty with the only stipulation being that you serve time, no fines or restitution, and that you serve your time at a federal facility with psychiatric services.  Spend your time in the pen getting treated and earning a marketable degree or learning a marketable skill.  Get out treated and cured, and with a marketable skill.  BTW, there are chicks who completely dig corresponding with convicts.  They love knowing that their love can save a man.  Play that up with a pen pal and when you get out in addition to mental health and a marketable skill you can have a honey waiting.

Hint, even in the federal minimum security system you may not want to share your Super Genius status.

The suicide comes up when the person feels at the end of their rope. I am as sure as I can be that this is most likely not trolling. Some stories may be schtick but it is clear as day he needs help. That is a fact. You've made your opinion known loud and clear. Why not leave the thread? Put him on block. This is his thread. He's not creating several theads. Just one. This is the only place he has to write how he's feeling. Give him that. And by calling him out you are being hooked line and sinker by merely participating in something you believe to be false.

We've all heard the schtick/troll angle. Like I said even if all the stories are, how is sitting here all day going from a high to the deepest low normal? I'm guessing bipolar. He reminds me a lot of giants fan from FFT. Had some stories to tell. Most if not all were obviously schtick. Calling him out on it didn't help and over there you get 0 help, just mocked. He admitted he was bipolar and was off his meds. Not saying this is the case here, but clearly something is not right and the schtick/troll part if true shouldn't be the focus here.

I have a second cousin who called me telling me my dad is ok. In her mind he was off fighting in the Iraq/Iran war. He was sitting right next to me. DX: bipolar. Got treatment and is on meds. Built her life back up from 0 and is doing ok today.

I think you need to try the secret menu bread bowl Parnera soup.
