This is what yahoo says:

Oct 4 Indianapolis Colts RB Joseph Addai (shoulder, back) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 4. Addai may practice Friday, Oct. 5. He is expected to play during Week 5.

I will be  it as well.

Picked up Keith as well. I really dont see him playing this week when the Colts have a bye week following. Plus, Im wondering if Addai is going to make it through the year. He reminds me of a player that just goes a 100mph without any concern for his own health.

Today's practice is the key. If Addai doesn't practice today, I'd say he's probably not going to play.

I hope Travis Henry doesn't see your nick, he might get some more bright ideas... :lmao:
 Why in the world would someone suggest locking this thread, if that's what it means? With bye weeks and injuries, the Addai issue is huge for many owners.
I couldn't agree more....can't understand why there are so many a-holes on this site who are so quick to discount others

What time does practice end today?
Trying to figure out the same thing about when practice concludes.Wondering if there are any local Indy homers who are monitoring local sports radio reports for what I imagine will be the first to report any news.

let's assume Addai is out. Whether we find out today or Sunday morning...do you start Keith against TB? and if so, who would you start him over?

In that situation, I'm starting him over LenDale, Brandon Jacobs, Norwood, and Roddy White. I figure Keith can easily get 90-100 yards combined with 3 or 4 catches. Hopefully a touchdown.

i've got a mess of RBs to figure out but if kenton keith gets the starting nod for indy, i'll probably start him over all of the following, along with another of the following

ahman green (awesome matchup, hurt? lendale?)

cedric benson (feel like he's still going to break out at some point)

selvin young (???)

brian leonard (hardly considering this guy - screwy offense right now)

chris brown (not considering this guy)

leon washington (not considering this guy)

QB - Kitna, Garcia

RB - Parker, Mc Gahee, Portis, R. Brown, S. Morris

WR - S. Holmes, S. Moss, Mc Donald, D. Williams, Hilliard

TE - Miller, Daniels

PK - Folk

TD - Washington, Arizona, Kansas City

^

Who ever has that team, i feel sorry for you. gag

I have a mess too.

Westy-Bye/INj

Green-inj

Betts/Norwood/MJD-whats the difference? 4pts-3pts-2pts

If Addai is out, Sunday, you have to start Keith, especially in ppr leagues. The starting RB for the colts is always startable over anybody other than the studs.

Picked up Keith and will probably plug him in over Kevin Jones alongside Sammy Morris (ADP on bye). (You're welcome for the update, and yes, I'll make sure to let everyone know how it turns out...)

If you had told me before the season started that my week 5 starting RBs could be Sammy Morris and Kenton Keith, I'd assume that I was not only 0-4, but probably pulled some shady collusion-type trades to help out another owner. But I'm actually hoping that I can trot this pair out there this week.

I'm thinking the exact same thing with Kenton Keith & Selvin Young right now ... glad I got em both

I posted that because the entire thread consisted of a post that only had "?" in it, and there were many other Addai threads around. I thought the thread might be a joke.I apologize though, I didn't realize that people really need this thread. Sorry.

From Espn player page:

News: Keith looks set to make his first career NFL start at running back with Joseph Addai missing practice all week and listed as questionable for this week's game against Tampa Bay.

Spin: Even if Addai suits up and plays, we'd think the Colts would give Keith a significant number of carries. The situation is still too fluid to put Keith in your lineup as Addai may still start and play, but he's suddenly become an enticing option.

The Friday update from Rotoworld....

Marvin Harrison (knee), Joseph Addai (shoulder), and Bob Sanders (ribs) didn't practice for the Colts at all this week, including Friday. They are all officially listed as questionable for Week 5.Addai was present for the media portions of practice all week, so he appears to have the best chance to play of the group, though the Indianapolis Star thinks he will probably sit. Sanders is apparently the least likely, with Harrison a close second. The Colts play in an afternoon game. Addai is worth waiting for, especially for owners with both Addai and Kenton Keith, while the others shouldn't be counted on. Oct. 5 - 4:11 pm et

And this from the Indy Star's Colts blog (not sure who exactly is posting this)....

October 05, 2007 Mission impossibleDon't know what inspired me to try something that will make me look so stupid, but here goes. I'm going to try to decipher today's Colts injury report, just received via e-mail. This does not mean I know anything. I'm just going to take a shot at who I think will play and who won't, since the Colts have so many injury concerns that have prompted endless questions throughout the week.First, the guys who are out, the easiest part. WR Roy Hall, LB Rob Morris (IR) and TE Ben Utecht. That means Utecht probably didn't pass his psych test, the one where the wrong answer is, "I'm Batman."WR Marvin Harrison, RB Joseph Addai, S Bob Sanders, LB Freddy Keiaho, WR Aaron Moorehead and returner T.J. Rushing were listed as questionable. None of these guys practiced today. So, time for the gut feel. I'm guessing Moorehead and Rushing will be a go. Yeah, that seems rather harsh, but Keiaho would have practiced unless they told him not to, from what I know about the guy. He, like Utecht, has a concussion. So I'm guessing they are being cautious with him. Same with Harrison, Addai and Sanders. I thought Addai would play, judging by the fact I saw him three days this week. But I guess I was wrong. Unless the Colts' poker face has a tell and I'm just not getting it. I never thought Sanders would play this week, even after he told me he would be all right, but we have to expect Harrison is in the same boat. From what we know about Harrison, it wouldn't surprise me to see him show up for work and want to play. So I'm hedging a little here, but for now, I don't plan to see him.LT Tony Ugoh and LB Clint Session practiced. I expect them to play. CB Marlin Jackson did not practice (team decision) but I think he's OK. I expect him to play. So, let's review, for those scoring at home. Here's the checklist to give me a hard time about come Sunday ...Harrison - Not expected to play (although I'm not willing to go all-in on this at a poker table, so to speak).Addai - Not expected to play (same as the parenthetical expression above).Sanders - Out, like there was any doubt.Keiaho - Out, which explains why backup Tyjuan Hagler was smiling so much yesterday when I joked around with him. What the heck, give Freddy two weeks to rest the arm in addition to the noggin.Utecht - Out.Hall - Out.Morris - We'll miss you, Rob, but it's the last we'll probably blog about you for a while.Moorehead - Expected to play. Can't believe he would miss a chance to start his first NFL game. Wild Colts couldn't drive him away, right?Rushing - Expected to play. Not sure we want Kenton Keith handling returns in addition to most of the carries if Addai doesn't play.Ugoh - Expected to play. Ankle may be sore, but he played with it last week and I didn't see him miss any snaps.Session - Expected to play. Look real hard on special teams, unless something happens to Rocky Boiman or Hagler, then maybe Session gets a crack at linebacker with the base defense.Jackson - Expected to play. Don't know what the story was on the team decision, but unless I hear anything, I'm thinking it's minor. That's all, folks. So go ahead, guys, prove me wrong. I won't mind it. I'm sure the fans want to see each of you play anyway.
