Some tidbits for the weekend: (1 Viewer)

Well, well, well. I see my friends at the Patriots message board got a hold of this blog. Listen, this is my house. This isn't Patriots.com. Here I can say what I want and if you don't like it, too bad. Your hero is an #######. By the way, how many 31-year old guys have strokes? Let's see: Bruschi sucked, got good, then has sucked again since his stroke. Wow, what could make that happen? You know, because 31-year olds are always dropping dead of a bad heart. Hey, I gave my thoughts on what happened during my time with the Pats and I stand by everything I said. If you don't want to believe it, that's your choice. Good day and keep the comments coming. We love all the traffic. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the season.

Stew,

Tommy Rider is Tom Casale a former reporter from Patriots Football Weekly. He has a long history of unprofessional behavior. Last preseason, he posted posts under different profiles on Patsfans.com (a Patriots fan site) trashing and lobbing personal attacks at a fan named Mrs. B who attends training camp practices every day and writes reports on her blog. Casale apparently was upset that she got more attention on the board than he and other professional writers. He was exposed after denying it for the longest time.

He just left the Patriots. He is now using rumors and innuendos and personal attacks which no legitimate news organization would allow him to write now that he is no longer with the Patriots. I find it unprofessional and basically wrong.

If you guys want, I'm willing to go to Washington and talk to Arlin Spector. Is that what you want? You are lucky I'm in a good mood today. If you catch me in a bad mood, maybe I'll give him a call. Trust me, you don't want that. You don't want to open up that can of worms. By the way, we are closing in on 1,500 views for this post. Keep them coming.

now, this is how you pimp a site.....

I remember when Casale used to write a column for a website called Gridiron Grumblings that was titled "The Fire Sale"

I used to read it weekly, it was really funny and he was good at picking out fantasy up and comers and generally had good advice. Plus he was entertaining. I went to the blog following the link in the post and there sure are a lot of people that hate his guts over there. Damn.

I dunno, I'll still read his stuff. I don't get so caught up in the he said she said BS that I guess everyone else does.

Thanks. Affiliate check is in the mail. Actually, he took a lot of heat from my partner in Vegas for making the post without running it up the flag pole. Just funny how blogs and TV shows everywhere get pretty intense on important topics and call out personal issues, but Patriots fans act like WW3 because someone insulted their favorite football player? A guy making millions to play a little kid's game that most of the time would switch team and cities in a heartbeat if the money was right. I have season tickets to Pistons, Wings, Tigers, Lions and even UofM and would consider myself a HUGE hometown homer. Despite this, not sure how people act like someone insulted their mom when they say something about an overpaid athlete?

Thanks, I already assumed any NE fan is going to bring out the torches.
I see you keep throwing up this strawman, and I'm seriously curious about why you seem to think people outside new england are incapable of reading this guy's comments and forming an opinion about them.he seems like a miserable piece of ##### to me, to borrow a line (thx, tom), and it has nothing to do w/the pats, believe it or not.look, like he said in his commentary --- it's all about the traffic, right?edit:nevermind -- I understand.you throw up that new england thing to justify defending an ##### who happens to be on payroll.so, forget the curiousity, and consider it rhetorical.
