AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Thanks. Just need to let some angst out. Sometimes just yelling is better than or helps dealing with overthinking about........................
Work, stupid people, getting over or getting back with an ex, being another year older, wondering if T boosters help and are worth it, or if any supplement/vitamins help really, working out
money money money, and so on and so forth.

So yeah. :rant: :hot::censored: AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Thought this was going to be about one of those retreats where you yell and break things and they relieve you of a few thousand dollars.

T-Boost?
-Is that the Rice Krispie size pellet they shoot into your buttocks that's all the rage round here in Palm Beach?

Men and women take this little pellet and it does things...I only tend to see people in generally good health in their Late 50s to Mid 70s that want these things to keep their drive going

No idea. I see a lot of ads for these supplements, and as someone over 50 wonder if they are worth it or work as they say.
Pros and Cons of TRT vs natural supplements?

If you think you’re testosterone deficient, talk to your doctor about it.

Be wary of commercialized “men’s health” clinics, and private compounding pharmacies.

There’s no data to support most supplements. Eat a healthy diet instead.

Thanks. Checked a couple years ago and was on the lower side of the acceptable range. Working on exercising more and improving my diet. Just wondered if these or any supplements actually helped.

2 couples, both the man and woman very active, tennis, running, cycling, golf, all of it. Both wives quite fit especially in their age ranges and both the men are very fit and don't hit the weights that hard so I can tell you with my own eyes from first hand observations, these shots they take 2-3x a year in the buttocks with this time release T-boost or whatever else is in there, the desired effect seems to be achieved by those who are taking the shots/pellets

Personally, not for me although I have been feeling a lot less pep in my step...BUT I am doing some things about it
I agree that diet and exercise are huge factors

I think at this point of my life I just try and reduce things down to as simple as I can. I always start with:

1. Is this something I have any control over? If the answer is no, I move on.

2. Does this REALLY bother me? I use this one a lot when dealing with people out there, topics of discussion where my blood might start to boil....etc..... If I think about it a minute, and the answer is no, I give myself a little pep talk like "why are you letting this bother you?". That usually helps a lot.

3. When it comes to health issues or how I feel, this one is easy? Are you eating right, getting exercise, and getting enough sleep? And if I'm honest with myself, then this one is easy to fix.

4. And at some point, some days are just gonna be bad for whatever reason. I allow myself those days and wake up the next day and start again.

5. And some days I scream into the woods.

Yeah, low normal doesn’t typically require testosterone supplementation, despite claims by some profit-minded “clinics” to the contrary. IIRC, there was a recent study which suggested it causes harm, due to adverse effects of the supra-physiologic T.

Attaining a healthy body weight goes a long way here, as extra fat produces estrogen, which counters your natural testosterone.

:goodposting:

Yeah, this is what the Dr indicated a couple years ago. Just hard to ignore when the "wellness industry" is a multi billion dollar industry and promoted everywhere.
The new one I see is the TRT clinics. Dr prescribed solutions to help increase your T levels! Just 15 mins and we do the blood work here in the clinic!

I know you weren't really asking for advice but thought it might help. :)
Sometimes advice is needed whether you are asking for it or implying you might need it!

:banned:Cheers!

(and sometimes its just good to write something down to get it out of your head and off your mind while seeing what kind of fun others can have with it.)
