I think I was 8 maybe 9 and I went to a Christmas party my Moms company put on. The "band" played that at the Christmas party. As a kid I wasn't cognizant of what it was about but now I wonder what the heck were they thinking?

Dated a chick in college that was really into the Stones. I never listened to the Stones before that and still do not even like them. I think of her whenever I hear a Stones tune.

Rocket Queen reminds me of another girl I dated in college. She loved that song. Played it constantly.

Seems like this could go on for awhile.

I was hoping it might be a nice thread to take a break from all the bad news and bickering in. So if it lasts for a while all the better.

If guys are interested in playing along it will last a while. Music is a huge part of our lives, especially in HS and college. After my initial post, I kept thinking of girlfriends from my younger days and could associate songs to many of them. In some instances, I could remember the songs but not the girls name from "that summer".

Funny, how we will listen to any music that some hot chick is into. When you are hooking up with a tall, blond beauty that likes country music, you will listen to country music.
