any Seattle homers? my expectation would be that Bedard would pitch well in the Seattle park, was wondering what folks thought of his longer term outlook in Seattle?

thanks

tex

The hip problem worries me enough that I'd look for a sell high opportunity if one presents itself, I'm just glad I had Webb ranked above him and Beckett pre-season. I knew health would be a concern with these two, but given some things I've read about Bedard if I were his owner I'd be REALLY concerned.

I had Bedard ranked #3, Webb #4  I dont know WTF I was thinking. Would love those 6 wins right now. That being said, the hip injury isnt a concern anymore & Bedard is pitching phenomenally right now. But I cant see him getting more than 15 wins on that sad sack Seattle team especially with their horrendous offense.

Saw a write up and accompanying video showing that his pitching motion is likely to cause continued hip problems if he doesn't alter his approach. I'm not saying it will happen, I'm saying there's a good possibility of it happening. In the meantime he will continue to pitch dominantly when healthy, I see him in a similar light as Rich Harden except not to the point where he's that injury prone...yet.EDIT: if you're interested I saw this on the Hardball Times (I think) when Bedard was on the DL, so it would have been posted sometime in mid to late April.
