Oh then I just missed the pick when looking for him.The one I ran? Sure he was. Went at 2.19 to the Falcons.
This is the only guy I see being able to do what Harrison Smith does out of this draft class.

He seems like the kind of player a GM will fall in love with in the late first because of the tape and ignore the injury. If his medicals all checked out he's easily a first rounder.I'm hoping if the Vikes don't go WR in the first take a safety instead, with Joseph at the top of the list.
So if I had moved up for him it wouldn't have been considered a reach? He seems like the kind of player a GM will fall in love with in the late first because of the tape and ignore the injury. If his medicals all checked out he's easily a first rounder.
Joseph is one of those guys that every fan wants their team to take. Haven't heard a bad word about him.Aww. Thanks, guys.![]()
With the need NYG has on their D line, it seemed crazy not to try and get him. A 1st round grade with a 6th round head on his shoulders. May work out for whoever takes him IRL, may not. If he can keep it clean I think itll be a huge acquisition for whoever.I think he is a good fit for the Vikings defense and should be a very nice addition to the Giants as well.
I don't know much about the character concerns and I think he may have been drafted sooner if not for that. This is an area that the Vikings have been known to take players off their lists completely. I am not sure if that will be the case with Nkemdiche for them or not.
I don't think so. I imagine a savvy team will grab him at the back end of the first. He really flashes on tape.So if I had moved up for him it wouldn't have been considered a reach?
I tend to agree he is worth a 1st round pick. I just falsely thought people were not really aware of him so I stopped trying to move up.
Yeah that is all I have seen also."Tape," AKA youtube highlights.![]()
RB or OG
Not if they watched him run into the line over and over like another Bama RB.Derrick Henry is who they would pick in this situation.
I've been hearing a ton about Prosise recently, is that possibly just teams hoping that Booker and Dixon fall or actual buzz?I think Booker or Dixon might look like Forte to Adam Gase.
Whitehair would be a reasonable pick too.
Maybe, but I still think the Dolphins would jump at the chance to pick him here. Not if they watched him run into the line over and over like another Bama RB.
I'm really not all that enamored with Hargreaves, but there aren't a whole lot of corners in this draft. I like taking him at 9, Joseph in the second to shore up a now ball-hawking secondary, and then just letting the defensive line talent fall into my lap. Not intending to tip my hand or anything here...Anybody already regret their picks based on how things are shaping up?
Especially if Stanley or Tunsil is still there, Tenn could pounce and set TB up for a great haul.I'm really not all that enamored with Hargreaves, but there aren't a whole lot of corners in this draft. I still think Tampa is really primed to be a team set to move back into the teens considering their needs versus other teams and the players who are projected to be on the board at that pick.
I took Rankins this mock (went CB last time) to see how it could play out, and have no regrets now, because we are 40 picks in, and 10 DTs have gone.Anybody already regret their picks based on how things are shaping up?
I think it's buzz. After Elliott there are several solid backs each that would thrive in the right scheme.I've been hearing a ton about Prosise recently, is that possibly just teams hoping that Booker and Dixon fall or actual buzz?
I tend to think it is smoke as well. I have done a really good job of not listening to pundits and draft talking heads for the most part. I get a glimpse into that reading some of Fausts blurbs and so on but for the most part I have tuned most of that out this year.I think it's buzz. After Elliott there are several solid backs each that would thrive in the right scheme.
This is a great suggestion.Hey, if you are within 3 or 4 picks, send a wish list, and write up pick later. Get your guys. Let's blow through 3rd round by Wed.
Getting Mariota a solid playmaker, like it.2.45 Titans select Hunter Henry, TE Arkansas
2 30+ yr old TEs on the roster. Walker was great but the abilty to to add the best TE in the draft to play with the Franchise for the next 10 years was too much to pass up.
I agree. I know the Panthers need a CB, but I really never figured out the love of Hargreaves and why he was way better than the other 3 that seem to be mid to late 1st/early 2nd in all mocks. He's just always been mocked top 10 and I just haven't ever seen a lot about him. Maybe it is because he is always so far gone that I've never read up on him in terms of the Panthers.I'm really not all that enamored with Hargreaves, but there aren't a whole lot of corners in this draft. He really is everything you want in a corner, but he lacks ideal size. I remember watching the Gators a few times in 2014, thinking he was pretty amazing, and really wanting him to end up with the Bucs. The kid is all over the place constantly making plays on the ball. He's definitely legitimate. I do worry about him at 5'9 covering NFL #1s like Julio Jones, Kelvin Benjamin, etc. That being said, he has plenty of experience and success going up against some pretty great WRs in the SEC.I agree. It wouldn't surprise me to see him drop a bit, but I do feel like we get hit over the head with Ramsey and hear nothing about Hargreaves other than he's top 10.
Pm sentSaints at 47 will listen to offers for us to move down. If interested plz send along before I'm OTC.
IRL, if Cook falls past the Bears at 41, someone in the 42-48 range (none of whom really need a QB) is going to be picking up a pretty nice haul to move down IMO. I don't see any way he makes it into the late 2nd.Where is Connor Cook going to go? Somewhere unrealistic?
He's actually the guy I was tempted to trade up to get at your pick, but I am trying to still keep IRL in this draft and I am pretty sure the Saints aren't going to be trading partners with the Panthers to let the Panthers get a guy they want.Belay what I said about those trade offers, I'm kinda surprised to see this guy still here. This year's SPARQ darling along the OL, the Saints can get him into the rotation at OG on Day 1 and ideally kick him outside to tackle in a couple of years when he hones his technique. Still a little raw, but you can't teach 6'6" and 325#.
2.47 - Saints select Germain Ifedi, OT, Texas A&M
Definitely one of those cases where mocks <> reality. If you have a mock guy (sorry Soulfly) in Cleveland who believes the RG3 story that he can rekindle 2012 and that the OL will be fine without Mack/Schwartz, he's going to pass on Cook. Same with Andy for Denver. Last mock he took Cook, so he's doing something different. Also, hard to work out a trade when the picks go so slow, whereas in the NFL, that is their job so they are watching everything and paying attention when people drop.IRL, if Cook falls past the Bears at 41, someone in the 42-48 range (none of whom really need a QB) is going to be picking up a pretty nice haul to move down IMO.
