Just saw Specter talking to Golic and Greenberg on ESPN2 and said his main interest is Eagles Super Bowl game. He mentioned the St Louis Cardinals Super Bowl game as well. This guy is an out of control fan using US Congress for his own personal use. It's horrible.Golic just mentioned that stealing signals has been going on for years and might not be an issue for Congress. The idiot Specter said that stolen cars is also a problem that has been on for years. Golic and Greenberg told him they disagreed with him. I give those two credit for not laying down for this lunacy.

So the first time Mike and Mike are asked to do their show on Super Bowl morning, Arlen Specter had the nerve to try to ruin it all by expressing a contrary opinion? What the hell is wrong with our leaders? Don't they have any respect for our core American values like warm and fuzzy Mike and Mike schtick?

In his defense, theoretically, how much money did it cost the Pennslyvania if there was cheating going on? Even if that was his only issue, it stilll is justifiable.

However, whats being underreported, at least from where I've seen, is the greater issue of Specter being in bed with Comcast who was having carriage issues and I know had at one point been in negotations to buy the NFL Network or a sizeable interest.

I think THATS the real reason for his visibility.

If this is true...

Actually he said that was what started his intial claim into the subject. But he has had some issues with how Goodell covered up the Pats spygate with the evidence being destroyed, and with the answer that Goodell provided.
