Spencer Havner just resigned with the Packers. You remember him? He was the guy that filled in for Finley last year when Finley had hurt is knee and was out for a few games. Rodgers really had some good chemistry with Havner as they connected for 6 TDs in not that many games. I would really look at picking this guy up if you weren't quick enough to get Tamme.

Havner really only saw looks in the red zone (which obviously isn't a bad thing but has limited potential for yardage) plus the Packers like bother Crabtree and Quarless.

6 TD's in like 4 or 5 games IIRC. Also, I am not saying get him for this weekend, but keep an eye out for him for these last few weeks leading up to the fantasy playoff run.

If you have the bench space might as well pick him up and see how he does. If you are already set at the TE position, and he ends up producing well and people feel like he's Tamme 2.0, trade him. Return value would be better than usual because of all the injuries to TE's and he's on a pass first and second team with a great QB. I already have Tamme, so not worried about Havner working out, but will be dropping Mike Goodson for him. If he works out, cool, if not, cool. You have no chance of winning the lotto if you don't play!
