I'm in a league that ran an auction draft. Fine, I went in and put in the teams with player's salaries and put in the rules that teams can't exceed the max of $200 total cap space. Everyone complied w/o incidence at the draft, but now comes the challenging part.....getting people to continue complying once the season starts and roster moves kick in.
Now, am I correct in my conclusion that Sportsline doesn't have a function in place that let's a commissioner sit back turn on FAAB or Waiver Wire or anything and just sit back? In other words: in order to maintain the integrity of the cap through the season do I have to use FAAB, treat bidding as new Salaries for claimed players and then maually police the moves as well enter in the cap info for each new player?
From every angle I've checked that is how it seems it has to go down.
That stinks if it is the case. Please tell me there is an easier way that I'm missing out on.
