Spotify Christmas mix - suggestions? (1 Viewer)

Two of my favorites—put them into a mix with others:

- A Charlie Brown Christmas -Vince Guaraldi Trio

- Have yourself a soulful little Christmas -Kenny Burrell 

I guess I’m kind of a jazz lover. But there’s something special about these. Enjoy.  

 
Not Spotify, but I created a new station in Pandora with just White Christmas from Bing Crosby. My grandparents had an enormous record player when I was little, like the size of a washing machine. Stack of Christmas records from Bing, Perry Como, Johnny Mathis, Dean Martin, Pat Boone, etc. This Pandora station with just that one seed has played all of that stuff over the past 90 minutes and I can't begin to say how relaxing and nice it is by a roaring fire after a work day of the typical crap. :thumbup:  

And I was going to make fun of you guys for listening to Christmas music. :lol:  

 
I'm trying to find the sax version of Chestnuts roasting over an open fire that @Ilov80sposted a moon or two ago.

Yeah, I prefer the old stuff like that as well. Very relaxing, goes well with a tall glass of your preferred holiday beverage. 

 
This is my Christmas playlist on Spotify - there are a dozen or so that are my own uploads on there that you may want to delete. It also skews more contemporary/rock - I tend to play this list once a year when we host a Christmas party, but I have been adding and deleting to it for years, so if anyone wants to follow, feel free!

Also, I always love suggestions for stuff that will fit in.

I use Pandora and last year added The Nutcracker to mix songs into my channel.

There is some bug or something because about every 10 days I get a notification from Pandora that says "Hey General, it's Friday why don't you get your party on tonight with a little 'Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy!" or "Get over Hump Wednesday with some 'Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy'!"

The never talk about any of the 100's of songs I've added to Pandora channels except that one in this generic mad lib thing they send me.

Cracks me up every time.
