i like ferguson the best of all the guys you named.

I would stay away from the Jets at this point, the SS spot is very uncertain. McGraw was with the 3rd team D yesterday, Celestin with the 1st team, and has been there for over a week now. McGraw is reportedly still hampered by a hernia which has been slow to heal, and the rookies Rhodes and Maddox are playing the safety spots on the second team D. Who wins the job probably won't be decided until after the last preseason game, and I could even see a rotation as a possibilty. Ferguson and Carpenter I think are the best bets here. Denver didn't even draft any safeties, and went heavy on CB's. Carpenter appears to be healthy coming off a knee injury. Both should be safe, reliable, if unspectacular choices.
