SS Trade offer (1 Viewer)

5x5 (w/ OBP) 14 team league. I have Kinsler at 2B, and Tulowitzki at SS as well.

I give: Barmes (2B, SS)

I get: Bartlett (SS)

1) How much PT will Barmes get going forward? Tulo's back, Stewart's pushing his way into the lineup, and Atkins is sticking around as well. It's weekly lineup changes, so I can't mix-and-match starters, unfortunately.

2) How real are Bartlett's early numbers? Are they sustainable? His high slash numbers are fueled by an incredible LD rate (28%).

My strong lean right now is to make the trade. Any thoughts?

Bartlett is on the DL - with no word yet on when he will return
That's not true.
Okay magicman - which part would you like to discuss? He is definitely on the 15 day DL with a sprained ankleLast update had him scheduled to hit off a tee last week.....................nothing since

Bartlett won't return on Wednesday: The Rays don't think SS Jason Bartlett will return from his sprained left ankle when eligible Wednesday, according to the St. Petersburg Times, "but I don't think it should be much further along than that," manager Joe Maddon said. (Updated 06/06/2009).
Barmes is a scrub. Bartlett, even if he regresses, is usable. I'd keep Bartlett and it's not even close.

Maddon sounded pretty definitive that Bartlett (sprained left ankle) will not be ready when eligible to return Wednesday, "but I don't think it should be much further along than that."http://www.tampabay.com/sports/baseball/ra...icle1007802.ece
