PM next "You're Up", following "On Deck", the 3rd up "In the hole"

Other courteous drafting tips:

PM a list if away

Have an idea before your next turn

Have an idea for your turn after that

I get a PM, have an idea before my pick, if I can only PM from the cell, I PM the guy before me in case he is still around and the guy after me so I don't hold up the draft and he knows it's his turn after he post my pick.

and prep

Quarterbacks.....Green 5

Running Backs....Red 3

Wide Receivers...Blue 5

Tight Ends.........Purple 5

Defenses............Grey 4

Three more hours and you can ask Duke1948 what to do (drop him down til he shows; drop him to 16 or replace with the next callup who goes to 16 and everyone moves up one)

Does he even know this started though?

He was on yesterday but might not have looked at the myriad of threads.

Of course he is not Mr. Speedy under any conditions.....

We had this situation in PDSL2. BnB's answer was he gets dropped to 16 with everyone moving up 1 slot correspondingly. 4 hr clock when he comes back on at 16 (and for remainder of draft). If still no pick when that clock expires, replaced from next league down (from list in PDSL since there was no bracketing for moveups).

Sounds good, hopefully he makes it in today, BUT there is a list of people to move up that BnB left in one of the thread and that is why the different leagues are spaced out to start every two days. party on

That makes sense to me.

 This is my understanding of the rules as well.

I'm leaving for most of the day...I PMed Glumpy my short list ( hope thats okay ) will be back in afternoon

Progress! :lmao:

Interesting to note that Larry Johnson's status as a top 3 lock seems to be in jeopardy, judging from the first two SSL's.

Glad to see we're finally moving a little. I was beginning to think this was the slow boat to nowhere. :bag:

1.09 Joseph Addai, RB, IND
LOVE that pick at 9.
If this were August and not May, I would have taken him at 1.03. But I suspect that Indy will bring in someone to share touches like Rhodes did last year.
I have an awfully hard time not penciling him in within my top 5. LT

Sjax

LJ (I still believe)

Gore?/Addai?/Westbrook?/Bush?
That's about how I've got them right now, until any more moves shake out. Sitting at 4 and having had LJ last year I wanted to go a different route in this draft; it was a tossup between the remaining choices...

Who else would they bring in who would significantly affect Addai's carries? Maybe an older vet to steal some short yardage carries, but as it stands now I don't see anyone out there who would be able to keep Addai off the field on first down or in passing situations. As an Addai owner, I think I would have been more concerned about the Colts taking a big back like Tony Hunt in the draft.

We can take this to the Shark Pool, but I could easily see Corey Dillon or Chris Brown taking over the Rhodes role.
