SSL IV PICK THREAD (1 Viewer)

3.12 RB Laurence Maroney

I seriously considered passing on him just to see when he'd finally get taken, but I actually want him on my team. In the late third, he could have the same year he did last year and still be an OK pick.

He was on my radar but I passed. Didn't want to have to curse the TV each week watching the Pats score a lot of points and none of them going his way. Would love to hear what you have to say in the comments section as Maroney is not a PPR type guy.

I am out until 7 PM EST. I would send a list, but too many picks out there. Hopefully it wont get to me agin unitl after 3 PM.

Peace

4.06: WR Lee Evans, Buffalo Bills
what did you have to edit here? LOVE this pick... for you. :tinfoilhat:
I almsot took another WR but he is still in play so I am going to keep it under wraps until we get thru the next couple of rounds. I actually typed the wrong team for Lee Evans as i was typing away this morning over a cup of java...I like Lee Evans as a WR2...I hold my comments for the other thread. Would liek to see who I get int he 5th before i write up the Lee Evans pick."Stay thirsty my friends"

QB Donovan McNabb, Philadelphia Eagles

Would have been a little happier with Big Ben here from a risk standpoint, but since Norsemen ruined that plan, I'll take the top 10 guy with the fewest overall question marks on offense.

ETA - who's left on the board, that is.

4.11 Greg Jennings - WR, GB
good value here. I was considering him this round, but wanted to get a safer top tier qb. Didn't want to risk a qb run...
:goodposting: I could have written this verbatim.
Teamramrod has you guys on the run....
I almost drafted Cutler instead of McFadden so that I too could have two QBs with the same bye-week... all the other teams with byes in week 8 have terrible QBs!!!

4.14 jonathan stewart, rb, car
Was really looking at him here, except he shares a BYE with LT4.15 Felix Jones, RB, DAL
Please explain how you can draft a guy at 4.15 when he's gone at 8.7, 8.4, and 8.6 in three previous leagues. I can understand jumping up to get your guy, but you better seek medical attention for your shoulder on this pick.
Problem is that this draft isn't unfolding at all like the other drafts. I think Jones, in a PPR league, can put up Bush floor/Westbrook ceiling numbers, and I didn't want to miss out on him. What's with the shoulder comment??

I like the fact that ownrs are not going by the book sort of speak...kinda boring. And it's only May...some of these picks are going to look even worse by August.

I can't wait to go blow by blow, team by team...probably when we get down to the final 5-6 rounds I can write these all up. Hope everyone has some thick skin.

Can someone please help with the PM's? I have a 6:30 mtg, I've been in the Parking Lot on my laptop figuring out these picks, and I have to go now...
