St. Louis - updated (1 Viewer)

@gianmarco you know anything or have an opinion on Wildwood?
I've only been a couple times and generally no need to go there. It's not close even though it's considered St Louis.

Not an area I'd want to be because I like being closer to other spots but there's nothing wrong with it. Pretty good description you got above. Plenty of places to closer to everything else and still being close enough to Wildwood to commute to.

Did a nice Louisville - St.Louis-KC- Omaha run a couple years ago (from Asheville). 4 nites in St.Loo Great time. Hotel was in old Union Station. Good metro. Couple Cards games "The Hill"  for Italian Lots to see and do. Would go again

Lots of snow here is 6 inches.

Been here 10 years, probably average 5-10 snowfalls per winter.  Usually doesn't last more than a couple days.

Temps usually in the 20's-30's, will occasionally get into single digits and below and also had 60 degrees for one day last week.

I'm not a big winter person, but overall not that bad.
This is a good summation. I hate winter, so I fret any time the weather drops below 40   , but we don't the frigid temps (10 or below) too often.  This snow we got yesterday and will get today blows, but we don't get this kind of accumulation that often.

Wildwood is nice but way out there. Probably a good place to raise kids, but otherwise totally boring. I lived in the CWE then St. Louis hills from 2005-2015 FWIW.
