Stacked Dynasty Roster (1 Viewer)

I am pretty excited about both of my dynasty teams heading into 2010 because I think I have a great chance in both leagues. Although I am high on both my teams, I would stop short in calling my teams a "dynasty". Who does have a dynasty in the makings? I want to see what kind of insane stacked rosters there are out there.

My best team is listed below. I am sure there are others that a much much better. Please share.

12 Team Dynasty Salary Cap League

QB: Jay Cutler, Joe Flacco, Josh Freeman, Jason Campbell

RB: Adrian Peterson, Ray Rice, Ryan Matthews, Darren Sproles, Toby Gerhart

WR: Larry Fitzgerald, Randy Moss, Sidney Rice, Hakeem Nicks, Jeremy Maclin, Braylon Edwards, Mike Williams (TB), Emmanuel Saunders

TE: Antonio Gates, Owen Daniels, John Carlson, Aaron Hernandez, Rob Gronkowski, Dennis Pitta

See my z11 team in my signature. It is pretty loaded. I took over a 5 win team two years ago and have had just about everything go my way.

12 team PPR dynasty going on 5th year in 2010

9 starter league, 1 RB minimum,

Peyton, Flacco

Peterson, Felix Jones, CHoice, Chester Taylor

Andre Johnson, Calvin, Fitz, Jennings

Finley

16 teams

Salary cap dynasty league

Aaron Rodgers, Joe Flaco

Adrian Peterson and a a whole bunch of nobody

Greg Jennings, Sydney Rice, Micheal Crabtree & Josh Morgan

Jermicheal Finley & Heath Miller

Garrett Hartley

Steelers D

PLUS, I have over 50% of my cap available for this years free agent auction and four 1st round picks in next years rookie draft.

Maybe, just maybe I get to win it all one of these years?

It might not be a great team this year - but it's the best of my two dynasty teams and I think the future is bright.

12 team league

QB (Start 1) - Matt Ryan, Jason Campbell, Matt Moore, Charlie Whitehurst

RB (Start up to 3) - Jonathan Stewart, Beanie Wells, CJ Spiller, Jahvid Best, Justin Forsett, Jerome Harrison, Toby Gerhart, Darren Sproles

WR (Start 2) - Roddy White, Michael Crabtree, Dwayne Bowe, Steve Breaston, Johhny Knox, Louis Murphy, Demaryius Thomas, Julian Edelman, and Andre Roberts

TE (Start 1) - Jermichael Finley, Aaron Hernandez, Brandon Pettigrew

Kaeding @ Kicker and MINN DEF

It's a QB, RB, WR, WR, FLEX, FLEX, TE setup, but I'll start 3 RBs.

edit:

This team won it all a couple of years ago based around McNabb, Westbrook, Portis, etc... It's been a complete overhaul.

So far all the teams displayed look very good; especially the OPs.

In my signature is a link to a thread where I discuss my Dynasty Teams and tactics that are complete, I have 3 more teams that have to have their rookie / FA draft

Below is what I feel is the best one... my starting line up isn't uber stacked but I have loaded up the offensive depth chart

League is in its 2nd yr so no team has had the time to "Stack" yet... it takes years and a lot of luck / foresight to build a Stacked team.

Its a contract salary cap league

### Legends of the Gridiron Dynasty Organization - 12 Team PPR / Auction League

RB MBIII / Felix / DMC / M Bush / BJ / Bradshaw / Moore / M Bell with Tate & Hardesty in the Taxi (nothing exciting but good depth)

TE F Davis / Watson / Scheffler / Shockey / Cook (Taxi) (my weakest spot by far but I should find a trading partner)

Not going to get into PK & IDPs; nothing special... hurting at DT & DE because I refuse to spend more than $5 of my cap on anyone at those positions; my LBs are ok mostly bargin basement deals besides Harris... I needed one sure fire stud. DBs are always replaceable.

Traded a lot of picks away in 09 to acquire players for a playoff run, lost in Rd 1 by .2. I had a good offense last season but suffered from the Injury bug; KSmith / MBIII / Boldin were all down or playing injuried last yr. Feel really good so far about the team so far, got 2 good rookie RBs in Tate and Hardesty and re-acquired 2 of the players that I had in 2009 that I over paid for in MBIII & Royal. I missed on Cooley, he was actually $4 more than what it would of cost for me to keep him. I also got Campbell, DMC and Hester at bargins. My QBs / WRs / RBs seem set, no one too studly for WR / RB but I have a ton a depth and nice trade bait for later... if I'm a playoff contender I will be looking for TE later in the season.

Almost scary how similar (bolded our same players) - Going into 7th year (3 time champ - including last season) 10 Team dynasty (no PPR):QB: P. Manning, M. Ryan, J. Campbell

RB: Cedric Benson, Wells, Moreno, Mendenhall, Buckhalter, L. White

WR: R. White, M. Colston, D. Jackson, Crabtree, Chambers, Camarillo

I also had Shonn Greene, but traded him for Mendy to make my playoff run.

why do people bother posting any team in a league under 12 teams.... news flash, you have to be a FF tool not to have a good team in a 8-10 team league.

If your going to participate in these fondle ur own ego threads there should be a guideline to eligibilty.

That is flat-out amazing talent in a 16 teamer...especially when you consider it is a keeper versus dynasty.

 Oh good - now we've had the requisite "Anything less than 12 teams is for children" post too. Go do some reading in the Dynasty thread about why your point about 8 & 10 teamers is absolutuely off base and makes no sense.Summary: In larger leagues, where talent is thin, who to start on a weekly basis is fairly obvious. When you have 3 decent RBs - and you can only start 2, looking at matchups, tendancies, etc. becomes much more important. The skills required in large vs. smaller leagues is not a difference in skill level, just which skills are important (i.e. drafting vs. weekly lineups) and in dynasty leagues, drafting (even in smaller leagues) is huge. Just as an example, 2 years ago, James Hardy was drafted in the first round rookie of my 10 team dynasty league - Desean Jackson was the next pick.

True, i had a real hard time in my 4 team league last year choosing between MJD, AD and Ray Rice. Plus, i always picked the wrong one between Desean Jackson, Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgeald and Brandon Marshall. I wont be playing in any 4 or 6 team leagues this year as i clearly do not have the skill to pick which great player to start every week.

Plus, i always picked the wrong one between Desean Jackson, Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgeald and Brandon Marshall. I wont be playing in any 4 or 6 team leagues this year as i clearly do not have the skill to pick which great player to start every week.
You didn't even read the dynasty thread, did you?The player talent pool between 12 and 10 team leagues (which is the lowest number of teams most people are posting) - isn't even that great. Not to mention the fact that in dynatsy leagues, you typically have to go with slightly smaller team leagues, as it's easier to get people to commit to one season.

If you don't want to post in the thread, than don't - that's cool. But there are several very highly respected FF people that post here (some of whom actually get paid to do FF "work") that play in very competetive 8 and 10 team leagues as well as 12 and 16 teamers too. Honestly, go read the thread - it's a good read.

From a 14 team league. Highest scoring team each of the last 2 years. May not even have the best looking team in the league, but posting anyways.

QB Rivers, Hasselbeck, Whitehurst*, Moore*, Edwards*

RB CJohnson*, Gore*, Benson, Westbrook, Bradshaw*, Hamilton*, Ware*, Hilliard*, KBell*

WR Fitzgerald, Bowe*, Nicks*, Collie*, Aromashodu*, Morgan*, MWilliams (TB)*, SJohnson*

PK Longwell*

DT 49ers*, Bengals*

Will cut 4 for roster limits. *denotes drafted/free agent pick-up (compared to trades)

I already gave the team a curse on another forum, so posting here should be a double whammy.

Rivers

Surprisingly, it is probably my team I just drafted this season. A close second is the team in my Signature.

Extreme Dynasty

(start 1-3 QB, 3-5 RB, 4-6 WR, 1-3 TE, 1 PK, 2 DT, 2 DE, 3 LB, 2 S, 2 CB, 1 Team Defense)

PPR

QB: Tony Romo, Jay Cutler, David Garard, Trent Edwards, Luke McCown

2 top 10 QBs plus Garrard as my 3rd in a start 3 QB league

RB: Frank Gore, Beanie Wells, Jonathan Stewart, Tim hightower, Montario Hardesty, Leon Washington, Julius Jones

Gore, Beanie, and Stewart make an imposing top-3 - hightower is good in PPR

WR: Greg Jennings, Steve Smith (NYG), Chad Ochocinco, TJ Houshmanzadeh. Jabar Gaffney, Nate Washington, Devin Aromashodu, Jacoby Jones, Jordy Nelson, Brian Robiskie, Danny Amendola

Jennings, Steve Smith is money in PPR, Ochocinco is still top-15, and I can easily pull a WR4 out of my remainder depending on matchups

TE: Vernon Davis, Chris Cooley, Brandon Pettigrew, Martellus Bennett

Davis should be top-5 again easily

PK: Mason Crosby, Rob Bironas, Robbie Gould

I feel I have 3 top kickers here

DT: Randy Starks, Mike Patterson, Kyle Williams, Jason jones

In this tackle-heavy league, Starks and Patterson should be Money

DE: Mathias Kiwanuka, Darnell Dockett, Cliff Avril, Kroy Biermann, Darryl Tapp

My Weakest position, but still not terrible

LB: Barrett Ruud, Jonathan Vilma, Paul Posluszny. Chad Greenway, Derrick johnson, Dan Connor, Bobby Carpenter

I see Ruud as closing in on Willis territory with all that new meat at DT. Vilma and Puz should also be top-10

CB: Zachary Bowman, Kelvin Hayden, Antonio Cromartie, Eric Wright

A lot of Tampa-2 corners here

S: Louis Delmas, Eric Berry, Sean Jones, Dawan Landry, Kendrick Lewis

2 young Safeties who should have great tackle oppotunities

DEF: New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks

The Jets defense...what more do you need?

why do people bother posting any team in a league under 12 teams.... news flash, you have to be a FF tool not to have a good team in a 8-10 team league.

If your going to participate in these fondle ur own ego threads there should be a guideline to eligibilty.
 Oh good - now we've had the requisite "Anything less than 12 teams is for children" post too. Go do some reading in the Dynasty thread about why your point about 8 & 10 teamers is absolutuely off base and makes no sense.

Summary: In larger leagues, where talent is thin, who to start on a weekly basis is fairly obvious.

FWIW I think we're combining both in our currently auctioning 10 team league. Sure, many of us will have a great looking roster until you realize you have to start:

Total Starters: 16

Number of Starting QBs: 2

Number of Starting RBs: 1-4

Number of Starting WRs: 2-8

Number of Starting TEs: 1-4

Number of Starting PKs: 2

Number of Starting Defs: 2
Plus, auction and escalating salary cap. Drafting, roster management and finding deep sleepers is going to be key. Even in this 10 team league.
