Staff Rankings vs Draft Dominator Rankings (1 Viewer)

Looking at the latest staff rankings (8/24), the New England Patriots are ranked by most staffers with an average of 11.5(13,8,8,10,12,11,12,12,22,19,10,6,12). Yet in my Draft Dominator they are ranked 4th overall. Our scoring is pretty standard.

Wondering why the disparity.

Draft dominator is only set up with a few of the staff members. I think it's just dodds, Maurile, and wood. Defense is only dodds if I am not mistaken.

If you have settings for your league that aren't identical to the ones used for their rankings, it would change the order. The rankings on DD just use your league setting, and pull in the data from their projection of actual numbers.

If you look at the team defense rankings, "Joe and David" has New England ranked 8th.There are a few possible explanations for why "Joe and David" has New England ranked 8th on the site, while David has them ranked 4th in the projections.1. Joe is not as high on the Patriots defense as David is.2. The Draft Dominator is set to use a different scoring system than the FBG scoring that the site's rankings use.3. The rankings were updated more recently than the projections, and the next set of projections will move New England down.My guess is that it's probably either the Joe factor or the scoring system factor.

It's because Dodds is giving New England 6 defensive touchdowns which is the highest of any team. TD's are hard to predict for defense. Take a couple away and they move down a few notches to 7th with my leagues scoring. Even taking two TD's away it still doesn't get them to the #8 ranking they have on the staff ranking page. I agree something doesn't quite add up?
