is gaffney now the starter for NE? stallworth was on the bench and in 32 of 57 snaps compared to 42 for gaffney.

of course gaffney had the big week.

need opinions: is gaffney now a WR 2 for NE?

I was thinking about picking him up just in case they rest Welker and Moss week 16 and 17.

Both are viable #2 WRs, and could play #1 WR for other teams. NE has a plethora of viable receiving options, as they have always done they will spread the ball around. The only difference is, just as when TBrown was at his peak, Moss is always going to be on the field, and Welker will always be on the field.

Stallworth may be injured, it happens a lot, and the Pats aren't always honest on the injury report...

isn't stallworth playing effectively on a 1-year contract? gaffney still has some years left on his contract, iirc. gaffney might be the value pick going forward, especially for dynasty purposes...

Gaffney has been on fire the last three weeks. He's a much better fantasy option than Stallworth by far.
