October 11, 2006, 08:42Eagles :: WRWR Stallworth Hopes To Play SaintsBob Grotz, Delaware County Times - [Full Article]WR Donte Stallworth has had more MRIs than starts the past three weeks, having been scratched twice due to what the Eagles describe as a strained hamstring. Recently a reporter asked the million-dollar question: How soon can you get back into the game? "Let’s see. Who do we play this week?" Stallworth said. "I’m definitely looking forward to going back there, and not just to get some of my clothes." There, is New Orleans, where the Eagles oppose the Saints in a battle of 4-1 teams Sunday. Stallworth hopes the hamstring will heal and he will be able to show the fans he’s not some injury plagued former No. 1 pick.
I'll temper my enthusiasm, but hopefully he practices all week and is able to be a force this Sunday.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: OHHHH, this is priceless irony. LOL....I can't believe they put that sentence together with a (presumably) straight face. "Gee, if only I wasn't injured I could show those guys that I'm not...ummmm, injury-prone"

I like the year Donte is having so far in Philly, but this is just too funny.

I think Reid already said that Stallworth won't practice today.

For you guys that own Stallworth or follow the Eagles; How bad is this injury of his and where do you put him in terms of value?

I'm in desperate need of WRs and am thinking he might be a viable buy low, but I'd need him to produce down the stretch.

October 12, 2006, 07:34 Eagles :: WRWR Stallworth Doubtful, Slight Hamstring TearBob Grotz, Delaware County Times - [Full Article]WR Donte Stallworth, who spent four seasons with the Saints, was held out of practice and is listed as doubtful. He is hopeful of getting back on the field despite a slightly torn hamstring.
:sadbanana:Just rest it buddy, and come back 100%.

well if they are smart theyll prob sit him and let him get healthyhe got rushed back a little v. green bay and that set him backi think another week of rest will get him into a position where reinjury is less of a risk
