Starting Romo over? (1 Viewer)

Cutler over him. I think its the safer play. Cutler at home should light up the Colts.

I still think Romo will have a big game, I'm just playin the matchup.

I am starting Romo over Schaub. I really think the weakness of the Giants is the secondary. If Dallas O-line can hold up 40% of the time the WR'S will be open for big plays

I'm not liking Romo this week. It could get ugly for him tonight. Right now I'm leaning towards starting Romo but I may plug in Flacco instead purely because Romo plays on Wednesday and I don't want my weekend ruined already.

It could be ruined cause he goes for 300 and 3

Okay first of all, if Romo is on your team, you probably drafted him somewhere between Rounds 4-8 (based on scoring system).

If that's the case, some of you should probably reconsider your draft strategy if you want to play QBBC with a QB you drafted that high.

RG3 is the only player mentioned in this thread that I'd consider over Romo simply b/c of the immense upside with the possible rushing yards. If I was a huge underdog in my matchup this week, I'd start RG3 for the upside. If I'm the favorite and just need a steady 15-20 point performance from my QB, I'm going Romo.

I'm struggling with Romo vs. RGIII. Leaning towards Romo. I just saw a Football Guys Staff tweet that "a reliable source" says Witten is playing tonight.

Giants fan here. Giants cowboys is almost always a high scoring affair and very fantasy friendly. Only thin with romo is can his line keep him upright with time to throw against that fierce defensive front they are facing tonight.

If he gets time 300 yds and 2-3 Tds is not outbid the question.

Good post. And honestly, even if I have RG3 as my number two I would rather not roll the dice on a rookie in his first start. He could certainly blow up, but I would feel a lot safer with Romo in this scenario given that RG3 has never played a down in an NFL game that counts.

As ricky said...Giants/Cowboys have been high scoring...and while the pass rush is there for the Giants, they are vulnerable in the 2ndary.

Starting him with confidence tonight over Rivers (yeah, nice problem to have...people were just down on Romo this year and I snagged him after a lackluster preseason by Rivers...10 teamer)

Romo over Locker for me. I just think there's too much experience and explosive WR's not to play him. Could be a shootout!

Romo fell later than expected n my league. I waited to draft Peyton Manning as my starter so I had planned on going fairly soon after that for my backup. Romo was still sitting there in round 9 so I pulled the trigger. Of course now I'm sitting here trying to decide on Manning vs. Steelers or Romo vs. Giants.

I'm actually rolling with RG3 over Flacco. Just gotta try it.As for this thread, plugged in Vick over Romo for a friend.

JMO, but I think Flacco is a much different case than Romo and I might very well pull the trigger on RG3 over Flacco. Romo has been a consistently excellent fantasy producer who most have rated very closely to where they have RG3 rated going into the year. Flacco, by most rankings, is a number of spots below the two of them. So I see that as a different scenario, even given that RG3 has never played a down of a real NFL game.
